Chapter two
Pov: Jason
"mom, I'm home..."
I shouted down the empty hallway. I got no reply.
This is very unlike my mom, she always replies.
I carried on walking down the hallway until I reached the living room and the smell of wallpaper glue hit me. Of course she was decorating; with wallpaper that can't be good. As I walk into the living room I noticed two things, 1) mom was stuck to the wall covered in glue. 2) The TV was on the news channel and she was watching it.
"Mom?"
"Shh."
"Really mom, the glue will dry and we'll never get you off the wall."
"Shh listen."
"Breaking news, just 20 minutes ago the police received reports that two teenage boys are missing."
"Hahaha bet that’s Kyle and Ben messin' around."
" the two boys both go to spring~lee high school and are the schools linebackers..."
I couldn't help it, when Ben said he would be filed under messin' for being 15 minutes late he wasn't kidin'. At this point I was tryin' my best not to laugh as I knew mom would get angery.
I didn't fool her.
"Jason Hinch! If you don't stop laughing and shut up right this minute you will be in your room. You hear me? It would not be on the news if they were just messin' around, now shut up.!"
Half way through I had already stopped laughing and shut up. She was right, it wouldn't be on the news if they were just messin'. They'd have been told off by the police for scaring' their mom's silly and sent home where their parents would give 'em a right talkin' to; it would moat definately not be on the news. So where are they? What are they doin'? What's goin' on? Well whatever it is I don't want to get mixed into it, they'll be at school tomorrow anyway no matter what they wouldn't miss a game ever, especially against Union.
