Chapter six

Pov: J

Apparently not. Mom and I were lead into a dark room by a woman; she turned the lights on and then turned back to face us. She was a bit shorter than Whittlock, but not by much; her hair was the same dark brown, but her eyes were a brilliant leafy green. Her features were a bit softer than Whitlock’s but the same somehow. It was like she was a girl version on him. They couldn't be though their surnames were different and she's not married. The more I think about it the similar they become. I think I better look away before she see that I'm looking'.

The room was painted white. It smelled of band aids and disinfectant, there were chairs and coffee tables around the room; to quiet honest it looked like a private waiting' room, and that’s probably what it was.

The woman sat down in one of the chairs, she had a pile of papers on the table in front of her.

"Please sit. Hello my name is Rachel, now could you tell me what your name is young man." she spoke to me with respect and a tone in her voice that made me feel like she understood how I felt.

"J"

"Is that your really name or just your nickname?"

"Sorry my name is Jason Hinch, but everyone just calls me J."

"Right Jason could you tell me when was the last time you saw your friends?"

"Today at about 9:05pm"

"Thank you, and could you also tell me where you were?"

"We were at West Park on west road, ma'am."

"Right" she was scribbling' everything' I said down. "Now, how do you know the two boys?"

“there my friends, ma'am, I've known them since play school, we play football together after school on Thursdays for team practise and on game days like tomorrow."

"Oh, thank you Jason for sharing' that. If you don't mind me asking' how old are you?"

"17 ma'am, I'll be 18 next month. Can I see my friends now please?"

"Yes yes, you have answered my questions now you may see your friends. Come with me I'll take you to them."
