Your eyes are dark,
They're so stark.
They want me,
But only under the tee.
They don't want my baggage,
They don't want my thoughts and dreams.
You used to know everything I was thinking,
But now you're chuckling.
You don't want me,
You don't want my heart,
You want to see me.
Have me.
An object to show off.
You can see it in those dark eyes,
So stark and grim.
Yet,
I want to see them shine again,
For them to see my heart and my mind.
For them to whisk away those demons hiding behind my smiling eyes,
Those green eyes you called your lucky charms.
You're charm,
Caused harm,
On my mind and body,
I don't know if you're happy.
But I'm not,
It feels like I can't breathe when I think of you yet my heart flutters thinking about those good memories.
Please,
Don't let me fade into those dark eyes,
Let them shine on me,
Look down to me.
See my heart,
Soul,
Mind.
And help grow my dreams.
