A Nightmare (Sequel to Just a Dream)

Chapter Six (A new, but old enemy)

It was another night in Dan's house. The squad just slept, but Vi stayed awake. This dream Dan had is trying to connect to her dream. And what that green-haired guy meant when enemies and allies are not the same. She tried everything that she could think of to try to see what the riddle is (if you know this, then pretend you didn't know either), but failed.

"If nothing relates to this world, then I need to sleep in order to figure it out," Vi murmured.

She then went to her room where Joyce and y/n were sleeping, and dozed off to sleep. When she thought she finally slept, she opened her eyes, ans gasped. She and the rest of the Squad including y/n were in that same school when May was defeated.

"Explain what you guys did when I passed out!" Vi hissed calmly.

"Don't blame me, it was Darkdanno!" Joyce arugued.

Before she tries to accuse and got straight to conclusions she then remembered by what the green-haired man said.

"Enemies and allies will not be the same," he whispered to Vi.

She knew what she had to do. She got up and walked to the spot where she and Joyce battled her with wands. Joyce and y/n looked at her in confusion.

"What do you even think you are doing?" Joyce asked.

"Surely we don't know what it wants, but we do know that its target is Dan," Vi explained. "However, I know someone who might experienced this before."

"And that is?" Y/n asked.

"You'll see," Vi said.

She stopped where she was at, and hollered, "MAY! WE SURRENDER!"

"MAY? VI WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" SSundee hollered. "Do you really need me to unleash Derp again?"

Suddenly, the mist swirled, revealing the corrupted verson of May, lying on the floor. Ever since they have defeated May, she grew weaker and weaker, due to her soul fragments (heart or something that was used during battle in Undertale) being cracked. May stood up, falling on the first try. Madelyn helped her up after May fell multiple times.

"Huh? What is this? Vi? I thought I was defeated! Do you really think i'd grew stronger after that?" May questioned.

"Actually no, since Jaiden, Neo, James, Kehaan, and Twinkle are not there for some reason. I'd like you to help us." Vi explained.

"Her? Helping us? What is wrong with you?" Thea hollered.

"Look, this may be a stupid idea, but listen to me," Vi reassured. "Dan's dreams are connected to my dream a few years ago. Since then, we didn't know who or what would happen as the outcome, but since we know that DarkODan is overpowered and we can't win without those five, we need some help. May on the other hand, have the same reason as DarkODan: to give nightmares to a specific person."

"How am I a specific person?" Dan argued. "I didn't do anything wrong at this moment!"

"Minecraft?" Crainer suggested.

"No, since Minecraft is slowly dying, Dan has a right to play other games. Plus, it gets boring after a while of playing Minecraft for a while," SSundee assumed.

"But Vi is right. Now that I don't have any power against you, I can't continue with my goal to stop you. But with what you're saying, I might have some explaining to tell," May explained.

"I just hope you're right," Dan mumbled.

Suddenly, Twinkle made a hard landing against the floor, crashing the window that she went through. She stood up, her head feeling dizzy.

"Eh? What doid I miz?" Twinkle said.

"Oh, you're here! What took you so long?" Vi asked.

"We couldn't find you, so we thought we went here," Neo explained, entering the broken window.

"Neo! Kehaan! Jaiden! James! You're all here!" Dan and the Sweather Squad exclaimed.

"Why is May like this?" Twinkle asked.

"It's a long story, and we did figure out Dan's disapearance," Vi said.

She explained everything in her own words, the kidnapping, the meeting with Dan, and Vi's crazy vision when she went unconscious while sleeping. The rest seemed to listen, except for Dan. He had some things in mind that caught him off guard. Until a portal showed up. DarkODan appeared through it, and laughed maniacally. Dan tried to yell, but somehow was frozen by the cold air the school brought up.

"Your friends won't know that I will be watching. I will come back, stronger than ever!" DarkODan hollered.

It didn't seem like the others were listening, but May did. She turned her back, and glimpsed at him, making an angry face at him.

"You won't succeed in getting into his dreams!" She spat at him. "I once did, but they took me down, even when I try. There is no reason to do the same. They will fight back as friends, and will do it again!"

"Ha, that was because you were not strong enough!" DarkODan argued. "Ever since Antisepticeye and Darkiplier created me, I grew stronger, more than you! I won't have the same outcome as you, May. I will succeed, and that even you can't stop me!"

He disappeared into the shadows of the books, May watching with her glare as the last parts of him disappeared. She then looked at Dan, and then the others.

"What was that about?" Vi asked.

"Dan's illusions. I even saw it myself when he appeared," May explained.

"How is that possible?" Jaiden asked. "Try me!"

May tried to see what Jaiden had in mind. All there was is a huge bird and Jaiden, riding in the skies. Jaiden felt happiness as the wind blew, cooling her off along with that bird. May then shook her head as to try to get that thing away. She then opened an eye, saw that it was back to normal, and open her other eye.

"I have no idea. It's probably like what Vi, and Joyce is having," May assumed.

"Well, now that we have turned an enemy into a friend, now what?" James questioned Vi.

"Now," Vi said. "Now we figure out the rest of his riddle."
