---Colby's POV---
"Colby, we need to talk. Now" I trusted these guys and it always shocked me when something like this happened. I hated confrontation and especially when it was from my friends. I hesitantly glided towards the couch and sat down, I was seated in between Arron and Brennen. Arron looked me dead and the eyes and spoke in a monotone voice. "Colby, do you like (Y/N)?" Shit, did they know, did she ask them before she left, augh, stupid Colby stupid. Arron's face along with everyone else's remained straight, no giggling no holding back a smile, this wasn't a prank they were genuinely asking. "No, I have only known her for 2 days, why would you think that." I looked over to Brennen and he just looked away. What had gotten into them today? "Why do you ask?"
---Flashback--- (Brennen's POV)
She came downstairs still wearing Colby's clothes. God she looked so good but she was Colby's and I wouldn't want to hurt him like that. We called her over to sit down and I couldn't help but notice some strange markings on her arm. I stared a little longer trying to decipher what exactly they were. I could only see a little bit since Colby grabbed her a jumper that was long sleeved. Then it clicked. Shit, oh god no (Y/N), why would you do that. The strange markings where from previous cutting sessions. How had I not noticed these yesterday, how had anyone not noticed them. I needed to tell them but I didn't want her to feel uncomfortable. After a while of chatting she got up and left I ran into the kitchen and wrote on a piece of paper "Hey, call me please, I need to ask you something super important ****, ***, *** - Brennen (I don't know Brennen's number so that's all I got) She came back down stair and I quickly grabbed her wrist twilling her around into a hug. I slipped the note into her pocket. I looked down at her arm again but it looked like she had covered the scars with foundation or something because I couldn't see them anymore. Now all I have to do is wait. Should I tell anyone what I saw?
---Present time--- (Colby's POV)
Brennen refused to look at me. "Yo, Bren, you cool man?" I asked, no response. "Hey, Brennen, what's wrong?" Again no response, he looked as if he was thinking about something "I am going home." And with that he stood up grabbed his jacket and walked out the door. Did I say something? I will text him later, I am just going to give him time to cool off. The conversation didn't last much longer after he left and soon enough I was sitting on the couch alone. I ran back up to my room to text (Y/N) to see if she was ok. "Hey (Y/N), how are you, if your free do you want to catch up?"
---(Y/N) POV---
When I got home I fell right on my bed face first. "Well done (Y/N), you fucked up your first impression." I began to take my jacket off when a note slipped out. It was from Brennen. I went for my phone but before I could dial the number there was a knock on my front door. I made my way to the door thinking it was Colby but I was shocked to see who was astanding at the door, Brennen. "Hey, hope you don't mind a surprise visit." He chuckled "Oh not at all, actually I just read you note, what was so important." He just stared into my eyes. "Oh, how rude of me come in, come in." I stood to the side to allow him in. He smiled again but there was something different in his smile, like he had something on his mind. He made his way to the front room and sat on the couch. I sat down next to him and looked him dead in the eyes "What's wrong Brennen, your acting different, is something bothering you?" He looked over to me but instead of smile he looked as if he were on the verge of tears. "Why, what made you do it, why did you do it?" I looked at him confused "Do what?" tears were now streaming down him face making his eyes all red and puffy "Cut."
