Shawn's pov:
It's been 8 months since ana told me the news. We decided we wanted to wait to see if the baby was a boy or girl, but we're going in to the doctor today to see if it's a boy or girl, so we can get clothes, and everything.
"Do you want a boy or girl?" Ana asks me, while we lay in bed.
"I love the baby no matter what sugar." I tell her, and kiss her cheek. She smiles, and tries to get up, being pregnant has been hard on her. She had to quit work for a while because of it. But she's been doing some work for a company online, making them brochures, and business cards, so she still gets some money.
"Ready to go baby?" Ana says and grabs her purse.
"Yeah I'm ready. Let's go." I say, and grab my keys.
She laughs. "I was talking to the baby, but you too hun."
We walk to our car, and I help ana into the passenger seat.
We get to the doctors and walk into the waiting room, they call Ana's name, and we head into her doctors room.
"So, you came for a checkup, correct?" The doctor says, and smiles.
"Yes, we would like to know the gender of the baby too." Ana replies, with a smile in return.
"Ah, yes. Well let's get to it."
After the checkup, he tells us the baby looks perfect, and that the baby is perfectly healthy.
"Ana, shawn, your baby, is going to be a .... Girl!" The doctor tells us, I could feel the smile on Ana's face.
"Shes perfect." I say, and kiss Ana's cheek.
We thank the doctor and head to a baby store.
"Are you happy she's a girl?" Ana asks me while we get out of the car.
"I'm eccentrically happy she's a girl. I can watch over her, and I can't wait to hold my baby girl in my arms. I already love her babe." I say, as we walk into the store.
"How's this one?" Ana asks me, as she holds this tiny, pink ruffle dress in one hand.
"It's perfect, for our perfect baby."
