A very generic detective story.

Why are you sniffing things?

We were walking down some streets since Amelia was walking somewhere like she was lost but also knew where she was going.
(This is not how I thought I would spend my day.)
"Amelia where are we going?"
"Have no idea. That's why we are following the universe."
"So out of everyone why are you connected to the universe?"
"Oh it isn't just me connected. There are loads of others who the universe helps."
"Right."
(A crazy person broke into my house and forced me on this case.)
"I'm not crazy Sophia." She told
(Was I thinking out loud? I could have.)
We kept walking till Amelia stopped and began to speak to herself.
"Is this where we are needed?..... If not then take us there. I find it annoying that you don't help me on this unlike the others."
She began to move again and quickly said thank you to no one.
(Definitely crazy.)
"So Amelia I don't really know much about you."
"Well what would you like to know?"
"Where did you work before coming here?"
"I was working at a detective agency."
"Wait there are other Holistic detectives?"
"Only one other. The others are just colleagues who help solve the cases."
"Where is this agency located then?"
"A clue."
(Of course she finds a clue.)
"Amelia that is just a piece of cloth."
"That may be the case but there is something special about it."
"It has some sparkle to it?"
She sniffed the fabric and then shook her head.
"Coriander."
"What's wrong with Coriander?"
"Coriander is a common ingredient used for spells. Which means this is an extremely important clue."
"How?"
"Just trust me Sophia it is."
She began to walk off making me have to run after her.
