Chapter 9: Wheres Jack?

Luna's POV:

I was still holding Jacks knife playing around with it on the subway. No one had really noticed that I was holding it. Jack grabbed my arm and took it back placing it back into the waist of his dress pants.

When we had finally arrived at our stop, the whole gang piled out of the subway car. Jack looped his arm around mine once again. I shivered, it was late October and I was in a skimpy dress with little sleeves. Jack held me closer when he realized I was cold and I smiled to myself. We walked arm in arm down the street to a night club. There was a line almost all the way down the block. Bright neon lights and loud music came from inside.

"How are we gonna get in?" I asked. Jack just led us to the bouncer dude and showed him his ID. The guy nodded as we made our way in. The club was huge, and hot, with drunk body's dancing everywhere and it smelled strongly of alcohol. We made our way towards the bar and Jack ordered two shots. He drank one himself and gave one to me. I drank it with one chug and I cold feel it making it's way down my throat, it kind of stung.

"SO WHAT EXACTLY ARE WE DOING HERE?" I shouted above the loud music.

"A TRADE OFF." He shouted back, "COME WITH ME." He set down the two glasses and grabbed my arm, dragging me with him to a near by booth. There sat two guys on one side, one with a tux, brown hair, on the skinny side. He was wearing a bandana which didn't really go well with the suit. Another with darkish hair, a bowl-cut sorta style. He was pale and also wearing a tux. I slid into the booth first, jack sitting next to me.

"Sup, Gilinsky." Said the guy with bandana. "Caniff, Carpenter." Replied Jack nodding his head.

"And who's the gorgeous girl next to you, might i ask." Said Caniff gesturing towards me.

"My girlfriend." Said Jack. He looked at me in the eyes, with an expression saying "DONT SAY ANYTHING".

Caniff and Carpenter both looked at me and smirked.

"Do you have my money?" Said jack.

"Yes, but we ain't giving it to you." Said Carpenter.

"Why not." Asked Jack, he had an angry look in his eyes. I could tell this was not going to turn out as planned.

"Your father killed my father." Said Caniff. I froze. What?

"Yeah and your father killed mine!" Jack said through gritted teeth. "And my best friend might I add."

"And we could kill your girlfriend just as easily." Said Carpenter.

What the fuck. I will not be killed. If anyone is going to die tonight, it will be one of them. NOT. ME. I looked at jack. My eyes turned purple as my force field triggered.

All of a suddenly the lights and music turned off. I felt jack get up next to me so I got up too. I almost tripped twice finding my way towards Jack and the gang. I wasn't sure what had just happened. Maybe it was a power outage. I found Sam first.

"SAM?" I spoke. "LUNA?" He said in reply. I could barley hear him with all the screams of the people who were now evacuating the club.

"WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!" I shouted.

"OKAY, BUT WHERES JACK?" He said looking around.

"I THINK HE ALREADY LEFT." We were being shoved my multiple people trying to make their way out of the club. Sam grabbed my hand and led me out the door. Once we got outside, there was no longer a large line of people. And everyone was gone. The rest of the gang had left a few minutes before the black out, and by now everyone had left the building, and the streets were empty.

"Any sign of Jack?" Said Sam looking around.

"No?" I said.

Then it hit me.

Like a train.

He didn't just get out of the booth and walk away. He wouldn't just leave me sitting their all alone to find my own way back. Jack wouldn't do that.

The blackout was probably planned. And it was probably also their plan to kidnap Jack.

Which meant he was still in there.

A/N:

CLIFFHANGER! Ugh I hate myself for doing this. I can't stand cliffhangers, but i had to do it to make this chapter more dramatic! Anyways- this is like my fourth update today! I feel proud of myself☺️. Also, Taylor and Aaron made their way into the story! I just love that!💙 Even though they are bad guys. And I'm really sorry for my bad spelling and grammar and I might have spelled Aaron's last name wrong? By I'm not sure! Anyways love y'all😘!
