Jacks POV:
I couldn't even comprehend what had just happened. Case just came here and warned me. Does this mean he doesn't hate Luna? What does he mean saneness is something a person should treasure? Im so confused right now. I just need to get out of this dumb building, I need air. And time to think.
I grabbed a sweatshirt at the top of a pile of cloths on the ground and left my home.
After about twenty minutes of aimlessly walking through the city I found myself at the graveyard my family was buried in. This is always were I went when I found myself being stressed. I sat down in front of Jacks grave and rested my head against the stone his name was carved into.
I patted the grass below me as a hello to Jack.
I didn't know what to do now. What's going to happen to Luna? I'm not going to just give her to Bart. I'm not going to leave her also, but I don't want to put the guys in danger. Right now I wish that I could just freeze time. But I know life doesn't work that way.
Luna's POV:
I woke up in Jacks bed. It took me a few minutes to recover my memory, but it was all there. What's going to happen to me? I know that Jack isn't going to just let me give myself to Bart. But to be completely honest here, I would be completely willing to join Bart if that meant the Jack and the gang would be safe. But I know Jack won't let me, that's what I love but also what I hate about him.
I got up and changed out of the cloths I was in, to my skinny jeans which were on Jacks floor, and one of his t-shirts I stole out of his drawer.
I snuck out of the building hoping that I no one would see me. I needed air.
I was walking throughout the street when all of a sudden all of the street noise had stopped. The body's of people and everything around me froze in place.
What the hell.
It was like the world stopped spinning. I looked around me in awe and shook for what was going around me. Everyone was frozen in place except for me, I looked down at my dad's wrist watch to see that time itself was frozen.
