Krystin POV
That nigga really thought I was about to sit here and give in to his sorry ass apology. Yeah right.
Maybe a quick run through the neighborhood would help clear my head up. I slipped on my Nike running shoes and headed out the door. As I made my way around the block I saw a familiar car approaching. As it got closer I realized who it was..................Jacquees. What is he doing over here? Then I remembered that his cousin Issa lives next door to me. Great. Hopefully he doesn't try anything.
Jacquees POV
As I was headed toward Issa's house, I saw a girl with a banging body running on the sidewalk. Shawty was looking good. As I got closer I saw that it was Krystin. When my car got close enough to her, I rolled down my window and told her hey. She kept running like she didn't hear or see me. I guess she really doesn't want anything to do with me. Not now at least.
When I pulled up to Issa's house, I got out of the car and knocked on the door. A couple seconds later Issa opened the door while holding Isa and let me in.
Issa: wassup cuz
Me: nothing. Hey Isa!
Isa: *giggles* hi
Me: man, what am i going to do? I don't like this feeling that I been feeling today. It's like I can't stop thinking about her.
Issa: Man.. don't tell me you falling in love or some stuff like that
Me: I don't know.
Issa: AHHH SHIT! quees is in love!
Isa: *smack issa in the mouth* Bad Daddy! Bad word!
Issa: My bad baby girl.. look que, Just send her a text message and tell her how you really feel about her. The worst thing that could happen is she just ignores you.
Me: i guess.. *sends the message* imma head out now.
Issa: ight man.. later
Krystin POV
I heard him tell me hey but I don't want to lead him on in any type of way.
When I finished my run, I headed back inside of the house and went upstairs to take another shower. When I finished I saw that I had a text message from a number that wasn't saved in my phone. I opened it up and read the message:
Hey Krystin, It's Jacquees. Please just hear me out. I know it was wrong for me to be all up in another girl's face right after I had asked you out to the party as friends. I have had a crush on you for about a year and it won't go away. No matter how hard I try, my feelings for you won't change. I understand if you don't want to talk to me right now but I just felt like I should at least try. Maybe we can start over. I promise i would leave all those other girls alone just to get a chance to be with you.
I gotta admit, that message was really sweet and I guess I could stop being so mean and at lease talk to him and be his friend.
I walked outside and I saw that he was about to get in his car so I walked over to where he was.
Me: Hey Jacquees
Jacquees: Hey Krystin, did you see my text?
Me; yeah, i did. It was really sweet.
Jacquees: i meant every word i said
Me: Maybe we could start over.... Hi my name is Krystin.
Jacquees: *smiles* Hey Krystin, I'm Jacquees.
Me: Nice to meet you. Text me sometime.
Jacquees: I will.
Jacquees POV
YYYAAASS!!! She is giving me another chance. I just hope I don't fuck it up this time.
