"So, I think it's safe to say we can rule out Nessie." Sam says coming into the hotel room, making me choke on my coffee, "What do you mean?" Dean asks as Sam sits beside me on the bed, "I just drove past the Carlton house. There was an ambulance there. Will Carlton is dead." Sam tells us, putting his arm around me as Dean asks, "He drowned?" Sam nods, "Yep. In the sink." Sam says and I shiver, "I'm not getting near any water in this town then." I mumble, cuddling into Sam more.

"What the hell?" Dean asks, "So, not a creature. We have something else on our hands." I say and Sam says, "Yeah, but what?" Dean shakes his head, "I don't know. A water wraith maybe? Some kind of demon? I mean, something that controls water..." He says and my eyes widen, "All water that comes from one place." I state, "The lake--which would explain why it's upping the body count. The lake is draining. It'll be dry in a few months. Whatever this thing is, whatever it wants, it's running out of time." Sam says, pulling me closer.

"And if it can get through the pipes, it can get to anyone almost anywhere. This is gonna happen again soon." Dean says getting on his shoes, "And we do know one other thing for sure. This has got something to do with Bill Carlton." Sam says and Dean nods, "Yeah, it took both his kids." He says and I say, "And I've asked around. Lucas' dad--Bill Carlton was his Godfather." They look at me and Dean says, "Let's go pay Mr. Carlton a visit."

30 minutes later

"Mr. Carlton?" Sam asks and he looks at us, "We'd like to ask you a few questions, if you don't mind." Sam finishes and I say, "We're from the--" "I don't care who you're with. I've answered enough questions today." Mr. Carlton says sadly and Sam says, "Your son said he saw something in that lake. What about you? You ever see anything out there?" I stomp on his foot and he flinches, "Mr. Carlton, Sophie's and Will's death--we think there might be a connection to you or your family." Sam finishes and Mr. Carlton says, "My children are gone. It's... It's worse than dying." Bill Carlton says looking at us, "Go away... please." He pleads and I nod dragging the boys away. "What do you think?" Sam asks but I stay silent looking at the water, watching the flashback come into my mind.

JJ, age 15

"Tom! Tom, come on! My dad told us to come in fifteen minutes ago! Tom, don't go that far out, it's not safe!" I yell to Tom who swims farther out, "Oh, come on, J! A few more minutes wouldn't hurt!" Tom yells back and I huff, "Well, at least swim closer to land!" I yell and he chuckles, "We have been swimming in this lake since we were two, this is the safest lake on planet earth! Plus, I'm a year older than you, you can't boss me around!" The stubborn headed 16 year old yells and I give in sitting on the grass with my feet in the water.
