Authors note:
Hey guys. I'm sorry I havent written in a while. Some of this has been written for months but other parts I wrote just tonight. I couldn't decide what direction to go with the story, but I think I've figured out this chapter. If you have suggestions or ways to make the story better, comment or message me.

Nora's POVWe arrived home and I helped Mari get our stuff out of the car. We walked up to the front door and walked in. The house was unusually quite. I walk up to my room and put my stuff down. I walk down to the kitchen to get food because I'm hungry, but who am I kidding, I'm always hungry.
I walked into the kitchen and saw a note stuck to the refrigerator door. The note read:
Hey guys,
I’m gone for a few days on a mission. All the information is in the file in the top left drawer of Mari’s desk, you know, the locked drawer. I’ll see you guys in a week, but I’ll probably call before then.
Bye,
JennaI walked up the stairs to Mari’s office and went to her desk. I used the key that she always kept under the key board. I know we're trained assassins and we keep a key basically under a mat. The thing is we never would need to hide the key because no one would ever get this far into the house. Heck, I don't think anyone would get to the front door. But back to the real world. I unlocked the drawer and took out the file. It wasn't labeled anything, I wonder why. We always have the subject's name or the group name on it. I guess it was a last minute assignment so she didn't do all of that. Inside there were only two sheets of paper. I looked at the first one. It was all the information from the employer and the job price. I read through it and found out that Jenna was going to assassinate an Alpha of a pack. The Alpha supposedly abused our employer's mate and was now on the hunt for her. So I searched up the Alpha's name on Mari's computer. The results came back that this Alpha is cruel and has a history of pack members leaving and saying they were abused. I'm only using words like "saying" and "claims" because by the time they got to safety they were healed. At least they were physically healed. When Jenna calls I'll ask what her plan is. Until then I'll continue reading the file. And if I manage to find out all the information before the call I'll fill Mari in. I took the second page from the file and it was a collage of pictures. There were a few with the same guy in it. I bet he's the target. The rest were pictures of the security around where he lived. I'm guessing he lives in the pack house, so Jenna would have to kill him elsewhere or she'll be caught and killed. There was literally nothing else on this Alpha in the file.
I got up and picked up the file. I walked out of the office and used my werewolf senses to find Mari. She was sitting in the kitchen eating.
She said, "I've been waiting to see how long it took you to finish with the file from Jenna's mission. But that was fast, it only took you like 15 minutes.
I responded, “It was so fast because there’s hardly anything in this file,” as I handed the file over.
“Did you drop any papers? I only see two pages in here.” She says after opening the file.
“Nope, there’s only two.” I respond.
“Oh no. Jenna should’ve done more research before going. She could die because she doesn’t know enough about him or his pack or the territory. We need to gather information before she calls, so we can prepare her more,” Mari said worried.
We took out our laptops and started researching. I looked at the terrain in the territory, while Mari read the victims statements to the packs that took them in. We started a document and wrote all of our information on it. I added photos of the land and which areas will be the best to seculde him in. Mari added information about his most loyal pack members and how he abused the people, which is going to help Jenna know how to fight him and who to avoid. We worked for about two hours. We compiled four pages more of information, all of it ranging from his friends, to places he visits, to his fighting style, to where to take him to kill him. This Alpha is documented as mateless, so the job will be easier. There won’t be a grieving mate to deal with afterwards or loyal mate to deal with during the fight. The Beta is loyal to him, but he doesn’t have a mate. From all of the information we gathered the Third is not involved in any of the abuse and does not know about it occuring. The Alpha lets his emotions control him as he fights, which will make it easier to take him down.
