So now it's Magnus' birthday! wooo! :D and he's gonna paaart-ayyy ;P oh and OMD I SAW TFIOS YESTERDAY AND I JUST *FANGIRLS VIOLENTLY* ya I live in England btw.... stupid Americans.... I'M KIDDING I'M KIDDING I LOVE AMERICA OKAY? OKAY. hehe back to the story now... oh ya btw i didn't write about the demon realm because it brought back memories of CoHF... so now this is a week after they escape. And before you ask, of course they escape! duuuuhhhh!

Magnus scowled as choruses of 'Happy Birthday' were thrown about at him. Normally he liked his parties, but that was when they were just for fun, rather than about him.

He picked up his neon pink drink that was probably drugged and walked over to a dark corner of the room where he stood next to Alec. "I thought I'd find you here," he said, chuckling.

Magnus couldn't see in the light, but he was sure Alec was blushing. "Yeah, well, I don't like parties all that much. Why are you here?"

Magnus shrugged. "I got tired of all the attention I guess." he said.

Alec scoffed and burst into laughter. "The great Magnus Bane, tired of attention? What a proposterous thing to say!" he said, a little over the top.

Magnus looked at his boyfriend, all puppy dog eyed. "Please, just get them to leave? I just want it to be us and your little Shadowhunter friends." he whimpered.

Alec sighed. "Fine. But don't expect me to do this all the time." he said reluctantly.

Magnus flashed a wide grin at Alec. "Thanks, sugarpuff." he said.

Alec scowled. "I thought I told you not to call me sugarpuff!" he cried.

Magnus frowned deviously. "No, I think we agreed on sugarpuff. It was babe you didn't like." he replied, smirking.

Alec scowled once more and stormed off. He cut the music and turned on the lights. A wave of disappointment flooded through the room, aiming at him. "Sorry guys, party's off. Magnus isn't feeling too good."

A ripple of moans and groans sounded through the room, but surprisingly all the guests filed out, waving goodbye to Magnus and Alec.

"Call your friends, Alec? I only want tonight to be a small do." Magnus said. Alec nodded and pulled out his phone. He called Jace first, who agreed to bring him and Clary. Then Izzy, who was on her way with Simon.

"Anyone else?" Alec asked. Magnus shook his head. "No, thanks. That's fine!" He said.

About 10 minutes later both couples had arrived and the six of them were sat in Magnus' now tidy living room.

"So how about we play a game?" Jace suggested.

"Oohhh let's play truth or dare!" Izzy squeeled.

"Jeez, Iz, you'll burst my eardrums." Alec muttered, ruffling his sister's hair.

"No, not the hair! Anything but the hair!" Izyy protested. The two rolled around, playfighting like two excitable puppies.

"Yeah, I think truth or dare is a great idea!" Magnus said, while he and Jace pulled the two siblings away from each other.

"Okay, then. We'll spin a bottle to see who starts." Simon said. He downed his bloodshake and placed the bottle in the middle, giving it a spin. It landed on Clary, and she groaned.

"Why meee?" she said. "Okay, okay. I pick truth."

The group fell silent for a while before Simon piped up with a question. "Okay, Clary. If you had to date anyone in this room, apart from Jace, who would it be?" he said, grinning devillishly.
