Tom's POV
The reassurance in her voice gave me that little bit of courage I needed to lean forward, towards Jen, and kiss her. She pressed her lips against mine with a little bit more force as I brushed my fingers along her face. She twisted her fingers in my hair, pulling me closer to her, her force causing me to let out a small groan of pleasure. I was vaguely aware of our dinner plates being placed on our table, but it never broke our kiss. Jen parted her lips, allowing my tongue access into her mouth. Our tongues collided and danced around each other, exploring the interior of our mouths. I felt her grab the collar of my shirt, I knew what she was thinking. I was thinking the same. I wanted her, I wanted her so badly. But nothing could happen here, we would have to get away from prying eyes. I broke our kiss.
“Not here,” I gasped, allowing air to return to my lungs. My body ached, it ached for Jen. I left money on our table that would more than cover the cost of our uneaten meal and I grabbed Jen's hand and lead her to my car. I could not believe this was happening.
Jen's POV
My heart raced, nearly as fast as Tom's car was racing along the road. I assumed we were going to his place. I didn't really care where we went just as long as we could finish what we started. Everything happened so quickly. Not that I was complaining or anything. I had been thinking this since the moment I laid eyes on him. I imagined how his lips would taste and how they would feel against my own. Little did I know I would find out so quickly. We arrived at a modern appartment in town. Tom pulled the key out the ignition and smiled at me, there was something in his eyes. I smiled at him, trying to figure out what I could see in his eyes. It looked like desire but I didn't think it was, happiness? Was he actually happy to be with me?
Tom's POV
I took Jen's hand. Her hand warm in mine. There was this feeling, a feeling I couldn't put my finger on. I thought maybe it was lust, but this was a lot more powerful than lust. This feeling lit every fibre of my being, it made me feel warm and it made everything seem... right. I was happy, a feeling I hadn't been that familiar with over the past couple of years. I was happy and I was happy because of Jen. I took her up to my apartment and welcomed her inside. I offered her a drink, and something to eat but she just smiled and shook her head. She walked up to me, with a mischievous smile on her face and one hand began tangling itself in my hair, pulling me closer to her. I caught her gaze and held it. I smiled down at her, he eyes sparkling in the dim light around us. I pushed her back against the wall, not hard enough to hurt her but hard enough to show her much I wanted her. I kissed her hard, a kiss with even more passion than our kiss in the restaurant. With my hand on the small of her back I pulled her close to me, the heat of her body made my skin tingle. We found our way to my bedroom, barely.
