Tom's POV

The music began to play and I turned to stare down the aisle in the direction of my bride to be. The sight of her caused my heart to skip and beat at an irregular rhythm. She looked like a Princess, dressed in a white gown that looked fit to be of royals standard. She had a white misty veil pulled down over her face and it seemed to drift as she made her way towards me. I couldn't pull my eyes from her, she looked beautiful. All the nerves that had vacated in my body had suddenly vanished at the sight of her. I knew this was right.

A short eternity passed and at long last, Jen was standing at the alter beside me. Her father placed her hand in mine and then took his seat in the front row beside our mothers who had already began to cry at the happy sight in front of them. Many of our friends and family had began to cry, and by the time the minister had finished introducing us, Jen's eyes had began to well up too. She smiled though the tears though as she stared up at me, squeezing my hand. The minister carried on with the service and we spoke at the appropriate times, repeating what he asked us to say. This was it.

“Do you, Thomas William Hiddleston, take Jennifer Anne Nicholls to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live?”

“I do.”

“And do you, Jennifer Anne Nicholls, take Thomas William Hiddleston to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live?”

“I do.”

“I know pronounce you, husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.” I lifted Jen's veil slowly to reveal her rosy face. She smiled at me as I took her face in my hands.

“I love you,” I whispered as I brought my lips down upon hers. I held her there for a second our lips moving around one another's, smiling lovingly into our kiss as the room erupted with clapping. I pulled back to look at my bride, the tears now flowing freely down both of our faces.

“I love you too, Tom. Forever.” I took her hand and we ran down the aisle, past our cheering guests, and brushing past the large bouquets that decorated the pues so elegantly. The guests threw confetti over our heads as we left, heading to a near by hotel for our reception.

We arrived after the guests because we stopped off home so Jen could change out of her dress and into something a little more comfortable. Everyone sat a tables dotted around the edge of the room and we ate as our friends and family made speeches. After that, I took Jen to the middle of the room for our first dance. It was a slow song that I didn't recognise but I danced nonetheless. I placed my hands on Jen's hips as she wrapped her arms around my neck. We slow danced through the song, silent but having a conversation with our eyes through unspoken words. The song ended and I kissed her again, this time for a lot longer and with a lot more intimacy.

We invited our guests to join us on the floor and shortly after we said our farewells, to catch a plane to America for our honeymoon. I didn't tell Jen where we were going until we reached the airport and she nearly exploded with excitement when I did tell her. On the plane, she slept peacefully the whole way. It had been a big day for her, and hopefully the most memorable day of her life so far. She must be so tired, so emotionally drained. That was clear as she slept. I shook her shoulder gently as the plane touched down.
