I met Gukhyun at my office once again. We then exited the building and I led him in my car, asking him to get on, which he refused to at the beginning, until I convinced him to get on.

It took us about twenty minutes to get to my father's place, as the place was in a totally different part of Seoul. It was a very exclusive area, and very few people could actually enter. Only emergency vehicles and people with a special pass could enter. Luckily, for me, I had that pass, and Gukhyun asked his assistant detective to follow us with his police car.

I led them right to the front of my father's huge house. I went up to the door and rang the doorbell. One of my father's maids answered the door, asking if I wanted to call my father down from his room where he was watching some movie, but I told her that we could go up to him, so she led us right to his room.

I walked into the room and I immediately turned off the television as I knew my father would try to ignore me by watching the TV.

"Who told you you could just come into my room and turn off the TV like that?" my father complained

"I told myself to, plus, I've got some friends with me," I answered sternly

"Mr. Park, I am Detective Im, and because you are a suspect on a crime committed near your company, I need to ask you a few questions," Gukhyun said

"First of all, it is no longer my company, and second of all, how am I a suspect while my son, who is the owner of PMC now, not a suspect?" my father asked, "And third, what crime are you even talking about?"

"How can you not know what crime I'm even talking about when you just lie in your bed all day watching the TV?" I said to my father

"You are a suspect because we have found that your son is not guilty after doing a lie detector test, which is why we came here. We have come to do a lie detector test on you," Gukhyun said formaly, "And if you resist, you could get a fine."

"Fine, I'll do it," my father answered

Gukhyun and his team, within five minutes, had set up in my father's office as I made sure that my father didn't try to flee somewhere like he did every time my mother got angry at him.

"So, did you know Do Yeseul?" asked Gukhyun

"Yes," my father plainly answered

"He's saying the truth," the lie detector reader said

"Did you speak to her often?"

"Yes," father replied

"It's the truth," the reader said

"Are you really clueless about what crime we are speaking of?"

"Yes."

"That is a lie," the reader answered

"Were you anywhere near PMC when the event occurred?" Gukhyun asked

"No."

"It's the truth," the reader said

"Then did you have anything to do with the crime?"

"No."

"Lie."

"Did you perhaps send anyone to kill this lady?" Gukhyun asked

"No."

"Another lie," the reader said

I knew my father was stressed and under pressure. I could see how helpless he looked. I could see how bad he was feeling for his actions at the moment.

"Now I have questions about another crime you are a suspect of," Gukhyun said, "Do you remember the Kim family?"

"There are so many Kims that I am not sure which family you are speaking of," my father answered

"Does Kim Jiyeon seem familiar? Or maybe Kim Haejin?"

"I don't know you you're talking about."

I knew that was a lie. It was obvious. He was sweating, and the room wasn't even warm.

"Lie."

"Did you encourage Mr. Kim Haejin to become an alcoholic and join him in abusing of his wife, Mrs. Kim Jiyeon?" Gukhyun asked

"Aniyo," my father said

"Another lie," the reader answered

I couldn't bear to look at my father. I was so humiliated by him. I did not wan to call myself his son anymore.

"Did you participate in provoking Mrs. Jiyeon's death?" Gukhyun asked

"No."

"More lies."

"And finally, were you the cause or the provocation of Mr. Haejin's death, which detectives believed was a suicide?"

"YES, YES. I DID EVERYTHING. I DID IT ALL!" My father finally shouted, his hands shaking, "I KILLED HIM. I TRIED TO HIDE THE EVIDENCE. I ABUSED OF HER. I SENT SOMEONE TO KILL YESEUL. I DID IT ALL."

I could not believe the words he had just said. After all these years, all he had been doing is committing crime after crime after crime. I knew I couldn't trust my father, but I never thought he would go to the point of killing innocent people for no apparent reason.

"We will have to arrest you, and you may be taken to court, as the younger of the Kim family still live today. You may also confront the Do family at court. Anything you say can be used against you. This interview has been recorded, so I may be used as evidence of your confession," Gukhyun said in a very stern and formal tone, keeping calm.

My father was then taken by two other officers. All of the lie detector equipment was uninstalled and packed up and calls were being made.

"I'm sorry, Park, but I will have to leave you now as I will have to make calls to these families," Gukhyun said as he put his hand on my shoulder.

"It's fine. I never trusted him anyways," I answered

***

I went back to the company and locked myself in my office, as I knew I was starting to get angry. I threw papers against the wall. I broke the frame in which only picture I had of my father and I was in. I took the picture and ripped it into a thousand little pieces, and then I heard a knock on the door.

"Jimin," I heard her say, "Please, don't be angry. It's not your fault."

And with those words, I calmed down. I unlocked the door and let her in. And then I broke down. I hugged her tight.

"You'll be ok," Minyun said, "It's gonna be alright."

Hi! I finally updated!!!

I hope you liked this chapter!! If you did, please don't forget to comment and vote on this chapter.

Also, keep in mind that this is purely fictional. I have nothing against Jimin's father, and I bet he is a great man just like his son. After all, like father, like son.

With mucho amor,
