Yumi's Investigation Pt. 2

Yumi was waiting under a street lamp on the side of a street. She was checking her phone every now and then to see if she received any messages from Eji.
"Yumi! Over here!" Eji yelled across the street waving his hand side to side.
Yumi waved back as he rushed over to her side of the road.
"I've been doing some research and is it true that agents have fake names?" Eji asked stopping in front of her.
Yumi nodded
"So what's your fake name?" Eji asked curiously.
"Are you sure you want to know?" Yumi asked teasingly.
Eji nodded
"I'll tell you later."
"What?! Why not right now?"
Yumi turned around and started walking down the sidewalk. "Because, we have to go to the agency."
Excited, Eji ran to catch up to her.
They walked a couple of blocks until they turned into a parking building, the parking building had 5 levels and was filled with cars. They walked towards the elevator which was on the middle of the parking lot, Yumi hit the "up" button, walked in, then hit the "5" button. Eji followed her, looking at all the cars parked on the floor before going into the elevator. The elevator went up, Eji stared at the screen as the numbers went up. Once the elevator reached level 5 and the doors opened, they walked off the elevator and saw it was completely abandoned except for a small black car. They started to walk towards the vehicle, Eji also noticed an agent standing near the drivers side, he had a black suit on, black sunglasses, and a wire connected from his suit to his ear.
"Hello Yumi." The agent said
"Hello." Yumi replied
"Who is this young fellow?" The agent asked
"This is Eji." Yumi said as she places her hand on his shoulder.
The agent slightly took off his sunglasses and looked at him. "Nice to meet you Eji, we should get going." The agent said as he puts his sunglasses back on and opens the drivers door.
Yumi nods, they all get in the car, and quietly exit the parking building.
As they drive down the road towards Tokyo, Eji noticed a black S.U.V parked in an alleyway. The cars nose was barely visible but somehow Eji saw it, as they got closer to the vehicle, the car slowly started to appear out of the alleyway. Once they passed it, the vehicle pulled all the way out and started to follow them. Eji was concerned but he didn't say anything. Yumi noticed his behavior as he kept looking behind them.
"Don't worry about the black car behind us." Yumi said
"What do you mean? Your not concerned?" Eji asked still looking behind them.
"Why would I be, they're agents that work with us. If they were the enemy, we would be dead by now." Yumi said as she crosses her arms.
Eji turned back around and stared out the window until they arrived at the agency.
Once they arrived, they drove into a hidden underground layer. It was kind of dark, the only light he could see was dim lights from the ceiling and the sunlight from the entrance. When the tunnel ended, they entered a large room filled with black cars, an elevator was located towards the back of the garage and that's where the agent dropped them off. Yumi pushes a button and the elevator door opened, as they went inside Yumi took out a card, slid it through a slot, and pushed another button.
"What's that for?" Eji asked
Yumi looked at the card she used for the elevator. "This is so you can access the agency, you can't get in without one."
"That's cool." Is all Eji said.
The elevator started to go up and there was silence between them for a couple minutes.
"Is something wrong?" Yumi asked finally breaking the silence.
"No, I'm just still trying to process the fact that your a secret agent. Now I know how you found Kazuto and Asuna so fast."
Yumi nodded. "I have access to everything in the agency so I used the computer system to track them down and get information about them." Yumi said as she hands Eji a gadget.
"What's this?"
"It's called a Neoro Linker, put it around your neck and turn it on."
"Isn't using that type of info illegal?" Eji asked putting the gadget on.
"Depends on how you use the info. I used it for my personal game so that would make it illegal, but now I'm using it for a case and that's not illegal."
Eji nodded in agreement. "So, What are we up against?"
"Don't know, we've been trying to get into contact with this person for a while but nothing has come through."
"What do you mean?"
"We've been trying to spy on this person and get his life information but we know nothing about him. It's going to be very difficult to go forward on this investigation if we know nothing about him."
"How do you know it's a guy?" Eji asked
Yumi didn't say anything for a minute. "B-because, he approached me the other day."
"What! Are you going to tell the agency?" Eji asked worriedly.
"I already did."
The elevator stopped and the doors slid open. On the other side, multiple people were running around with files and papers. Some were furiously typing away on computers.
"Why is everyone in a hurry?" Eji asked
"There could only be one thing." Yumi started. "We got a break on the case."
Yumi walked out of the elevator and toward a windowed glass room towards the back, Eji followed her and dodged some of the people that were carrying case files and boxes. Before they entered the room, Yumi told Eji to wait outside. Yumi went into the room and approached a man with a white suit, a couple minutes later she came out of the room.
"We need to go to the break room." She told Eji as she walked out of the room the man was in.
"What's the break room?" Eji asked
"It's where our most up-to-date technology is stored, we mainly use it for breaking cases and tracking people." Yumi said as she opens a door and walks through it.
As they walk through the door, they find themselves in a massive room. The room had three very large visual screens in the air and a few other computers near it. People were operating the regular computers but the three visual screen had faces and information about certain people.
"Wow, What are those?" Eji asked pointing to the large screens.
"Those are virtual screens, you can't see them unless you have a Neuro Linker on and activated. You can also use it as a gaming device and a phone."
Eji took the Linker off and noticed the screen disappeared and it reappeared when he put it back on.
"This is so cool!" Eji said excitedly
Yumi turned towards one of the agents. "What did you guys catch?" Yumi asked
The agent looked through some of the files which appeared on the large screens. "We found some footage that you need to see."
Yumi focused on the screen and watched the footage.
The footage showed a man in a black hoodie walking out of an ally way and knelt down behind a fence. The man was gazing towards a large building. The man stayed there for a while until something else appeared on the screen, a black car drove out of a car garage and drove up the street.
Yumis eyes widened. "That was......us."
"Looks like he's been following us." Eji stated
"Hmm." Yumi says as she puts her finger to her chin.
"YUMI!" A female voice calls out.
Yumi turns around and sees a young girl around her age. The girl had long dark blue hair, blue eyes, and a tough look on her face.
"Hisaya." Yumi said putting her hands on her hips.
The girl goes right up to Yumis face. "Don't call me that!"
"Why?" Yumi asked teasingly
"Should I call you Mina, Mina?" Hisaya asked teasingly.
They put their faces near each other and static filled the gap between them.
"Do you wanna go?!" Insulted Yumi.
"Ya! Where do you want to take this numb skull!"
"Pea brain!"
"Stupid-"
Before Hisaya could finish, a big man walked in.
"Can you guys stop fighting for 5 minutes?!" The big man yelled.
The two girls separate, turn their backs on one another, and crossed their arms.
"Wait your name is Mina?" Eji asked
Mina looked at Eji and sighed. "Y-yeah..."
"She's also one of our back-up captains!" Hisaya mentions.
"Really!" Eji yelled excitedly
"But, I'm a spot higher than her!" Hisaya says as she puts her elbow on Minas shoulder.
"Get your dirty elbow off of me!" Mina says pushing Hisaya away from her.
"So Hisaya, is that your real name?" Eji asked
"Yup, my nickname is Indira! It means 'god of the heavens and thunder'."
"That's cool, what does Yumi mean?" Eji asked going to Mina.
"I-It means 'Bow'." Mina says looking away avoiding eye contact.
"That suits you, your a delicate ribbon but at the same time you can be a dangerous weapon." Eji says with a sweet smile.
Mina smiles at his remark then turns back to the case. "What's our next move?"
"We need to wait the man out, for now we can focus on other case files." The big man walks up to Eji. "How would you feel if we let you become an agent?"
Eji was amazed. "That would be awesome! I would have the same job as Mina and we will always be together!"
Mina blushed at his statement.
"Congratulations! Your now a spy!" The man said happily. "You'll be working with Yumi and Indira for now. Watch what they do and how they do it so you won't get caught by bad people."
"Y-Yes sir!"
