Asuna and Kirito's AfterStory Vol 1

New Beginning

It's been 4 months since Kirito and Asuna beat SAO and came back to the real world. It might've been a nightmare to some players but to Kirito it was a dream come true. Even though he had a lot of bad things happen like losing his first guild members. Asuna during the last fight, and four thousand players, but most of the memories were good memories. Kirito and Asuna are now closer than ever, and Yui has been happier than ever before to be around her wonderful loving parents.

"It's been awhile since I've seen Asuna." Kirito says to himself as he walks towards the school. "Our paths to school are similar so I bet I'll run into her sometime."

As Kirito headed up the street, their paths meet

"Hey Kirito!" Asuna says as she approaches Kirito from behind.

"Hey Asuna haven't seen you in a while, do you want to walk with me?"

"Sure, why is that a question?" She replies with a smile.

"Alright, we should all meet up after school in ALO." Kirito says as they start walking.

"That's sounds good." Asuna then takes Kirito's hand and walks to school with him.

Later that day

"Hey Asuna , Let me walk you home." Kirito asks politely.

"Oh, thanks Kirito." Asuna takes Kirito's hand and starts to walk toward Asuna's mansion. "Maybe you should meet my dad while we're there."

"Sounds good...." He said in a non convincing tone.

Asuna knew he didn't want to meet them but her parents wouldn't stop grilling her about him.

Kirito and Asuna arrive at Asuna's mansion finding her mom is home early from work.

"Maybe it's not a good idea to meet my dad tonight," Asuna says worriedly. "Maybe you should go."

"Why? What's wrong," Kirito then sees Asuna's mom standing in the dining room waiting for Asuna to return.

"My mom is home early," Asuna holds Kirito's hand tightly."

Kirito knew Asuna and her mother's relationship wasn't the best so he left it at that. "Okay, see you tomorrow." Kirito gives her a kiss on the cheek and starts to head home.

Asuna sighs and holds her breath. "Let's see what she wants." Asuna starts to head for the door, she looks up and sees her mom glaring at her through the window. Asuna opens the door and comes face to face with her mom.

"Who was that boy you were walking with?" Asunas mom asked seriously.

"My.......boyfriend." Asuna replied

"Listen to me Asuna." her mom started to say with her finger pointed in Asunas face. "I will not let you date or marry someone who is not rich and has such a stupid hair cut. I for bid it! Now go up to your room and get ready for dinner! Also, bring me that stupid machine of yours!"

"What! I have to meet my friends in ALO later today!" Asuna pleads her mom

"I don't care, bring me that stupid machine." Her mom started to yell.

"But...." Asuna stuttered.

"Enough!" Her mom then slaps Asuna across the face.

With her hand over her cheek Asuna runs to her room , gets her amu-sphere, hands it to her mom, and runs upstairs slamming the door. She falls onto her bed landing on her back, She then feels a tear drop go down her cheek. "I thought my mom would be happy if I came out of SAO alive but she's acting like nothing happened. I thought this would be a happy beginning....."
