I pulled up to D house I got out and locked my doors and walked up to his door I rung his doorbell Dave answered the door with a smile.

"Hazel good to see you again."

"You too Dave."

Dave stepped aside and let me in D walked up to me.

"Haze is it okay for Dave to join us for dinner I told him that he could stay."

"Sure but Dave can you stay in the living room I need for my brother to be focused on his first cooking lesson," I asked.

"Yeah."

Dave closed the door and walked into the living room while me and D walked in the kitchen I sat my purse on the counter and washed my hands.

"What do you have in your freezer?"

"Nothing."

"Desmond Issac Wilson you don't have any groceries in your house?"

"No."

"Hey bestie I brought groceries since D said he didn't have any," Ari said as she walked in.

"Thank you because my brother is irresponsible."

"I don't have a girlfriend so I eat out most of the time."

Ari and I exchanged looks as we unpacked the groceries.

"And who's fault is that?"

"Don't rub it in Haze."

"It is your fault and you-,"Ari cut me off.

"Don't Haze please."

"No Ari he needs to know."

"I need to know what Ari you was fucking around me when we was together?"

"No I wasn't the night we both lost our virginities I got pregnant with twin girls."

"And you just now telling me," D said as his voice raised.

"No nigga the night you broke my heart is when I was about to tell you hell Haze even tried to tell you but you didn't want shit to do with me so I did what I had to do which was stop crying and get right for my twin daughters. Haze I'll see you later," Ari and I hugged.

"Tell my nieces I said hey."

"I will."

Ari looked at D one more time before she walked out of the kitchen D looked at me.

"How old are they?"

"They'll be 3 in 4 months."

"Haze I'm a daddy?"

"You are I've been trying to tell you for 2 years now but everytime I brought up Ari name you cut me off and told me that you didn't want to hear her name up until 5 months ago."

"Dammit man."

"D let's focus on this dinner."

"How can I fucking focus on dinner when I just found out that I have two twin girls that I didn't care nothing about huh?"

D began to take deep breaths and looked at me before he stormed out of the kitchen Dave walked in with furrowed eyebrows.
