The next day

It's been awhile since I've been to the shop so I found myself pulling up to the shop I parked in my usual spot. I grabbed my phone and purse I shut the car off and made my way up to the shop doors I opened the door and walked inside.

"Hey Haze."

"Hey Brit."

"What are you doing here?"

"Came to work its been a minute since I've been here and I miss doing hair."

"Do Dave know you here?"

"Yes I told him I just have to be careful and take breaks in between doing hair."

"Okay I'm glad you back because a few heads to do today."

"Alright can you go outside and get my hair bag."

"Yes ma'am."

I handed Brit the keys and I made my way towards the salon floor.

"Haze," everyone said in shock.

"Hey y'all."

"What are you doing back?"

"I am still the owner and I miss doing hair."

"Okay."

I walked over to my station I grabbed my hair apron and tied it around me.

"Um excuse me you're in my station," some girl said.

"Your station."

"Yeah my station."

I laughed.

"I guess no one told you that this station was to remain empty."

"And I made the decision to take this station it's not like you're the boss or anything Lyric is."

"Uh B I think you need to stop while you're ahead," Shan said.

Brit came in with my hair bag I thanked her she walked away.

"Why are y'all so shook about the pregnant chick coming up in here trying to run shit."

"Guess no one told you about me."

"Nope."

"Well let me inform you I'm Hazel the owner."

"No you're not Lyric is."

"Lyric is my middle name and this station is my station I'm pretty sure that everyone here told you that this station was to stay empty because it's my station everyone is shook because I mean business when I say something now you lucky I'm in a good mood because you would've been fired."

The girl swallowed and smiled nervously.

"I'm sorry boss lady."

"Mhmm now I'm assuming Gaven hired you."

"Yes ma'am I'm Bianca."

I looked at Gaven and he smiled.

"When did you start?"

"2 weeks ago."

"Before I have the final say so on my decision show me your work because Gaven didn't tell me that he was hiring anyone or Ariel."

They both smiled nervously at me.

"Yes ma'am."

Bianca grabbed her hair bag and rolled away from my station.

"Glad to have you back Haze."

"Glad to be back when I go on maternity leave please keep updated."
