Ari went to her parents house giving me and Dave some time to talk everything out.

"So I was thinking that we start back where we left off."

"No."

"Why?"

"Dave things can't just go back to normal just like that we have to start all the way back over from the beginning starting off as friends then we can build our way back into a relationship."

"Okay I'm David Brewster," Dave held out his hand and I shook it.

"Hazel Wilson."

"So Ms. Hazel tell me about yourself."

"I'm 25 years old I'm 5'3 my birthday is March 14th I own my own business Lyric House of Beauty at the age of 20 I have one brother Desmond I love kids and don't have any yet your turn."

"I'm 29 years old I'm 6'5 my birthday is June 9th I'm a rapper and I have a 2 year old daughter Kairi Chanel."

"My favorite colors is Pink and Gold."

"Mines Blue."

"When I was 19 I was crazy in love with my ex boyfriend Julian who was in the Marines everything in our relationship was perfect until he started drinking but always covered up for the Marines he started to abuse me verbally and mentally, he forced me to have sex with him and I begged and pleaded with him and he didn't listen. I ended up getting pregnant by him I was so happy about telling him the news hoping he would feel the same way but I was wrong he forced me to get an abortion that I didn't want. No one knows what happened besides Ari and D so that's my story."

"Before I had Kairi I had gotten locked up for selling drugs did a 3 year stint learned more about becoming a Muslim and converted once I got out I continued on with my journey of being a Muslim switched up my entire life style and put my focus on music. But before I went to jail I was a great basketball player went to two different colleges but because of my hot head and my mouth I ended up getting kicked out of both. As I was working on my music and trying to make a name for myself I met Kairi moms and we clicked for a little bit I ended up getting her pregnant and shit just went down here from there eventually we split and I've been taking care of my daughter since then that's my story."

I nodded.

"So D is really in rehab?"

"Yeah he is."

"Good he can get the help that he needs."

"Is there anything else that I don't know about you?"

"No that's it."

Dave nodded.

"How does this work?"

"We go on dates here and there, do things with Kairi until we're both ready to take that step again."

"Okay I can definitely do that."

"So that means no more kissing."

"It's going to be hard to not kiss you but I'll just have to wait."

"Yeah."

"So how's the hair line and your hair cream going?"

"Great my hair cream is definitely is selling out of the shop quick and my hair line is coming along and will be released in August."

"Congrats to you."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome I should get going I gotta go pick up Kairi."

"Okay."

Dave stood up and so did I we walked over to my door Dave opened the door and turned towards me.
