My Summer Kill

Chapter Two

After Ben's energy was worn off and he took a nap on the roof, we got in his car and took off.
   "How'd you like my bird act?" Ben said with a smile.
   I laughed a little and said "It was the most beautiful sight I've ever seen,"
    Ben seemed taken aback and said "What about my dick!?"
     I immediately laughed. Then said "Second most beautiful sight," he seemed happy with my response.
   
    The rest of the car ride was filled with only the rock and roll music blasting throughout the car and into the silent and empty night. Suddenly there was a bright light and loud crash, my head started to ache and I blacked out. When I awoke I saw two people staring at us hungrily. My whole body ached, and I realized I was upside down and had shards of glass suck in my arms and other parts of my body. The people were pale and looked sicker than a cancer patient. One opened their mouths to reveal blackend teeth and insides, they were so thin I could see every bone in their bodies and they lost much of their hair except for clumps and strands. The one that opened their mouth was about to make Ben his dinner, I had a rush of adrenaline and unbuckled myself and punched the pale man in the face, this angered the woman beside me who tried to also take a bite out of Ben. I fought her back and killed her with only a bite on my hand. I turned to see Ben to find the man biting on his wrist, probably testing if he's good or not. I punched him and beat him to a pulp, sure to break his jaw.

    Ben started to awake an hour later, I had gotten him out of the car and onto the cold November grass.
   "W-What happened?" Ben said groggily, holding his head.
     "We were attacked," I said.
