Dinner

The next day when I wake up I get a direct message from jack.

It said: "So if your not to busy having fun with your cousins wonderful children, would you like to come to dinner with me? There's a cool place to eat downtown I'll pick you up?"

I smile to myself as I type back. "Sure, what time.

A few minutes later he replies "great! 5:30

I give him my address and he says he'll pick me up at 5:30 again and then he's gone leaving me to get ready.

First I printed out all the pictures I took of universal and give them to my aunt who demands to see.

"This one is to cute!" She exclaims, referring to the picture my and jack took on the bridge.

"Yeah I reply softly. Back in my room I had just finished putting the picture of us on the bridge when there came the dreadful ring of the doorbell. I groaned and checked the time: 12:00.

I opened the door expecting to take a shower but instead running into my mother.

"Lucy! Your cousins are here! Why don't you go say "hi?" She asks.

"I have to get ready. I reply. "I'm going to dinner with a friend tonight."

My mother sighs. "I think Elizabeth will understand that you have family commitments."

"It's not Elizabeth, mom! I explain

My mom blinks in surprise

"Really? Oh! Is it the boy you went to universal with last night?" She questions

I nod.

"Well" she sighs. "I guess you better get ready than." I smile gratefully and rush down the hall hoping to not be seen by my cousin's evil children.
