Mitch's POV
After I calmed down some I told Scott what happened and let him see all of the texts Travis had sent me. After a moment Scott suggested that I get a restraining order on Travis. We went to the courthouse and filled out the ton of papers and a bunch of other stuff. I got a temporary restraining order until the court hearing.
On the way home I was feeling better. I looked at my phone to see a text from Kirstie.
Kirstie: Hey do you and Scott want to hang out tonight?
"Hey Scott are you okay with hanging out tonight?"
"Yeah. Movie night at our place? If we do that Avi and Kevin can come over too."
"Okay I'll ask her" I sent her a quick text.
Kirstie: Can't wait :)
I sent a Avi and Kevin texts to invite them over. They soon replied and said they would be there. Scott and I went to the store to pick up some snacks and stuff for tonight.
After we go home and picked up a little bit before everyone got here. Soon enough the doorbell rang.
Me and Kirstie were attempting to make some kind of brownies while the others got the living room ready by laying out pillows and blankets.
"Okay this was not a good idea." Kirstie laughed "look at the mess we made." She stepped back to look at the mess.
"WE didn't make this mess, YOU made the mess." I laughed.
"You helped make this mess and you know it." She wiped whatever was on her hand onto my face.
"Eew! You are gonna pay for this." I said as we broke out into a small food fight.
"Guys I don't think that is how cooking works." Avi had stepped into the kitchen. Making us freeze where we were and burst out laughing. Soon Scott and Kevin came int to see what was so funny and joined in on all the laughing.
Kirstie and I got cleaned up while the others picked up some of our mess. When we returned the snacks were set out in the living room. Kirstie took a seat between Avi and Kevin while I sat next to Scott on the floor in front of the couch.
We decided to start with a scary movie. Avi turned off the lights.
"I'm scared already and we haven't even started the movie yet." Kevin said while getting some popcorn.
When the movie started me and Scott were holding hands. As the movie progressed I tried burring myself into Scott's side and his arms were wrapped around me. After the movie was over we all looked at each other to see who was brave enough to go turn on the lights so we could look for another movie. Finally Avi stood up and went to turn on the lights.
"Okay, no more scary movies for me, like ever." I stated as Avi made it back o his spot.
"what do we want to ask next?" Scott asked the group.
"Something happy and cheerful. Like High School Musical. You guys have that movie right?" Kirstie said quickly making everyone laugh.
"We have all three." Scott told her and she smiled really big and clapped in excitement.
Everyone agreed so we watched them. During the first two movies everyone was singing along to all the songs and laughing. During the third movie I looked over to see Avi and Kirstie cuddled together sleeping. I looked over at Kevin to see he was trying to stay awake. I then looked up at Scott to see he was asleep. I placed my head back on his shoulder and let myself drift off to sleep.
