Prologue : The Past

Your hopes become a burden.

Looking at the red trees swaying with the wind, I was happy and contented. Sitting in a big boulder while feeling the wind brushing my hair.

Adam went behind me and said
"It's time"

"Okay" I replied

We ran in the forest and down the steep cliff towards the fast moving train, I imagined a future together, a future that you would be in and a tomorrow that both of us would achieve.

I felt scared running towards the train as it made loud noises, he held my hand, admiring his knuckles intertwined with mine before jumping on top of the train. "Trust me" he whispered, I nodded and a blush crept up my cheeks. We made it on top, and still we're connected like we are one.

He opened the emergency exit door on top of the train with his left arm and we went inside the train car hoping no one would know. It was pitch black, I can't see a thing, even him.

"We're gonna do this the hard way"
he mumbled

"Don't be so dramatic" I said

And then, lights and signals went on and robots started to move towards us.

I panicked and got my gambol shroud from my shoulder and gripped it tightly, and both of us are back to back with our weapons.

Oh! how great it feels when he's beside you

All robots started attacking us with lazer eyes and big wide metal knives as hands, I destroyed one and another, looking at Adam, he was destroying thousands of them calmly with his wilt.

Both of us ran to the door that leads us to the next car and went out to the roof of it and attacked more of the robots.

We arrived in the next car and walked behind him, he opened a box

"Perfect, move up to the next car" Adam said "i'll set the charges" he added and looked at me

"What about the crew members?" I asked, worrying

"What about them?" He questioned

Suddenly we heard a sound coming from Adam's back and both of us looked to the direction.

A giant robot with six humungous legs started to arise from the bottom. "Adam" i said, he walked towards it and the robot started to shoot him with dust, but he successfully caught those with his wilt. I ran towards the robot to help him and got my gambol shroud out to attack it.

But the robot was strong enough to knock me off it's one leg, and fell to the floor, and true, it was painful, the robot went close to me and thinking that this is the end but Adam quickly jumped in front of the huge robo and used his wilt.

He picked me up and ran far from it
"We need to get out of here!" I exclaimed, but Adam didn't reply

The six legged robot pulled out its biggest gun and started to shoot a big amount of dust and pushed us away until we got to the second to the last car.

"Find me some time" He said

"Are you sure?"

"Do it!" He exclaimed

I ran as fast as my feet can do and pulled out my ribbon to tangle the robo, shooting it's eye with my guns. Tumbling backwards towards Adam..

"Move!" His voice was raspy, tired and angry. Running to the next car, realising that he changed since we met. Before he was calm, sweet and understanding. Now Adam turned secretive, bitter and cold hearted.

Adam didn't even tell me that he joined into a group that kills people, and i'm dissapointed. He changed.

Made the descision...

Looking at him running towards the car im standing in, he looked confused, looking from my top to bottom.
I looked in his eyes

"Goodbye" those words came out of my mouth, pulling out my gambol shroud and slicing the metal that connected both parts of the train, expecting him to chase it, but he was just there, standing, looking at me.

The car starts to get farther and farther and I felt guilt, running back to the place he was standing before, Adam Taurus is gone.

Did I regret it.. yes
