"How could you?" I cried
"It just happened one time" Jason shouted
"We've been together for five years."
"I'm sorry. I messed up." He whispered
"You had sex with another girl. You fucked a girl and tell me that you fucking messed up!" I screamed
"Baby please listen to me. It just happened. I regret it every second. Please baby." He pleaded.
"I was waiting for you the entire month. You said that you needed time with your music. I never bugged you.
I gave you your space. Forget it. I'm not having this conversation. I don't even want to see you." I cried
"No baby. Don't do this. Please. Give me another chance. Please. I promise I'll make it upto you. I promise things will get better." He tried his best.
"Jason McCann we're done." I snapped.
I started walking.
He stopped me by holding my wrist.
I struggled.
"Baby please" he sobbed.
"Let go of me" I managed my hand out .
I started walking away. And didn't look back. I can't describe what I felt.
Maybe because I felt numb.
It was like someone had punched a huge hole in my chest and I just had to live with that. Jason why? Why did you do that to me? We were so perfect. So in love. Why is this happening?
My phone rang. It was him.
I declined and blocked him.
The next thing I know I was in my Porsche. And was driving very fast.
I hit 110 km/hr and I tried my best to hold my tears. I didn't know where I was headed to. I just drove straight ahead never looking back.
I needed someone to talk to so bad. I stopped the car.
I picked up my phone and called Naura. She was quick to answer.
"Hey Cher" she sounded happy
"Naura we broke up. Jason and I, we're done." I started crying.
"Where are you?" She asked
"I'm near The Keith" I checked and told her.
"Stay right there. I'm coming. I'll call rose right away." She calmed me.
"Okay." Was all I could say.
They knew what Jason meant to me.
They knew everything.
After 15 minutes
They said nothing.
Naura gave me a hug. Then Rose hugged me.
They told me that they're always there for me.
"Cheryl let's all go to my place. I'll have Tyler pick up my car. I'm driving." Naura said who was in her gym clothes.
Rose too was in her sweatpants.
They both must've freaked out and just rushed in a second.
We reached Naura's apartment and she made us coffee. She asked me if I wanted to get into sweats and I nodded.
They both didn't ask me anything. They knew how delicate this was.
Jason and I were the IT couple for the last 5 years. We never fought. Never had any issues. That's why they too had it hard to digest and were acting so calm because they knew it must've been a very big reason. After two hours of silence I finally said it
"I feel miserable" I started crying.
"You wanna sleep?" Rose asked.
"Hmmm" I whispered.
"You can sleep here in my bed. We'll be next door."Naura relieved me.
"Thanks"
"Don't say that Cher"
I don't remember how much I cried that night. I finally slept around 2 am.
When I woke up. And went in the living room it was 10 am. They skipped school for me.
"You wanna talk?" Rose asked.
"Yes" I said.
