Jason's POV

He took her out. He took my girl out. I'm gonna kill that sucker. I could see that the sucker was heads over heels for Cheryl. I had to give him a lesson.

Chery looked so beautiful. I love it when she wears red.

So there I was in my car outside a restaurant seeing my baby with another guy. At first I thought that it was just a rumour. Now that I see her with someone else I realise how much I miss her.

I have to make a call before I make a move.

"What's up McCann?" Ryan was quick to answer.

"Find out everything about the guy who took Cheryl for a date. Do it fast."

"Wo man. So it was not a rumour? Okay. I do know that his name is Aaron Dezz. I'll try to dig as much as possible."

Aaron Dezz. You messed with the wrong guy.

I waited outside the restaurant for like half an hour. Cheryl does not even like this kind of place. What is taking them so long.

My phone buzzed. It was Ryan.

"He moved from Seattle. He is a straight A student. He was the Captain of the football team in his old school. He lives in Willows. And there is a great information that you'll love." Ryan informed

"What?"

"His mom is working in Chanel."

"So?" How was that a good information

"McCann do you forgot who is one of the sponsors of Chanel for this years Fashion week?"

"My mother." I still didn't get it

"Asshole. Your mom can easily fire his mom."
I mentally had a evil laugh at this information.

"Ryan. You're awesome man."

"I know."
He hung up.

The game was easy. All I have to do is ask mom to fire his mom. But would that be right?
Aaahhh. Who cares?

I quickly called my mom.

" Yes honey. I'm at work. It better be something important." My mom warned.

"Mom. This is something important. There is this women with the last name Dezz working in Chanel. You have to fire her."  I was thinking of an excuse.

"And why should I do that? "

"She has criminal record." I lied.

"What?" She was shocked

"Yep. His son goes to my school and I saw both of them exchanging drugs with this biker dude." I lied again

"Jason. Are you sure? It was her? " My mom asked

"Yeah. I'm 100% sure."
I knew she would believe me. She loved me too much and would do anything for me.

"Then I guess I'll have to make some calls." Mom sighed

Yes. Dezz you're destroyed.

Oh they're coming out of the restaurant. Both smiling at each other. Aaron held her hand.
Fuck.
To make it worse.
Now he had his hand on her waist.
Enough. I can't take this anymore.
I am gonna kill him.

I moved out of my car.
I approached the street where they were standing.

"Get your hands off her!" I yelled.

They both saw me and were shocked.
But he still had his hands on her waist. How dare he?

"Do I need to repeat myself?" I shouted

"Jason. What are you doing here?" That dick spoke.

"I am here to talk to Cheryl. And take her." I looked at my baby.

"She doesn't want to go."
I think he didn't know who I was

"Did I ask you?" I was angry

"Jason. Man back off."

I took two steps forward. And punched him. I punched him so hard.
He fell down. And was getting up.
He was about to move towards me.

"Stop it." This time it was Cheryl who spoke. She was about to cry.

"Jason" she screamed my name.
She was helping Aaron up.

"Cheryl. Please you know that I love you. I can't ever stop loving you. Please baby. Please. Please talk to me." I begged her.

"I am not your baby." Her words were so clear.

"Atleast give me a chance to apologise and explain myself."

She thought for 10 seconds.

"Okay. I'll listen." She sighed.

She looked at Aaron.
"Can you please take the car home and wait there. I'll be back soon." She asked him

"Are you sure?" He looked concerned

Cheryl nodded.

We both were in my car and she asked me to take us to some quite place to talk. I was taking her to my penthouse nearby. No one was there. I took her there so that we both could have a conversation without anyone to disturb us.
We reached the penthouse my dad gifted me when I was sixteen.  It was today that I was so happy that I had
a place of my own.

I opened the door for her. She stepped in.

"You want something to drink? " I asked her politely.

"Water please." She was so innocent

I gave her a glass of water.

We both were sitting in the couch. She was sitting on the other side of the couch. We both were so apart.
Please some close baby.

"Cheryl. I know what I did was wrong. I can't describe how stupid I feel. I made a big mistake. I regret it every second." I broke the silence between  us.

She was looking at the ground.
She was not looking at me. That was so hurting.

"Jason. Whatever happened is something we can't help. " She tried to speak.
I have to make her comfortable

"I know. Cheryl all I am asking for is another chance. Just another chance."
Please forgive me.

"I can't." Those two words were so hard to hear.

"Please." I was literally begging her.

"Jason. Do you really love me?" She asked.

"I do." I was sure about that.

"Then stay away from Aaron. I know what you did today. You tried to fire his mom." She looked at me this time.

Fuck. How did she know?

"If you remember your mom knows me. She called me to ask if the Dezzes were really criminals."

Now she's gonna hate me more.

"Cheryl I did that becau"

She stopped me.

"Because you couldn't see me with another guy. That's what makes you and Aaron different. He sent me with you. Even after you punched him. And even after he knows you tried to fire his mom. Jason they are hardworking people. Her mom worked so much so get this job. How could you even think of doing that to her?" She was angry.

"I don't know what to say." I said.

"In that case. I'll leave." She said.
I wanted to hold her hand and stop her. But I knew I shouldn't.  That'll just make it worse.

"Okay. Let me drop you then."
She'll hate me more if I force her to stay. I have to give her some space now.

"I already called an Uber."

"Okay. I won't stop you." I didn't know what to do.

She left.

Neither of us said Goodbye.
