The Last Guardian Trico and reader (UNDER HEAVY REWRITING!!!)

(Okay I'm adding jack and mark in here bc i can)

You woke up to an echo of something falling then men shouting.  "Trico, wake up and be quiet people are here I don't know who or how many are here" you whispered.  Her head rose and she let out a low growl.  You got up and slowly sneaked to where you heard the noise.  You hid behind a thick tree and looked over.  There were two men talking.  One had chocolate brown hair, ocean blue eyes with a stubble and the other had raven black hair and chocolate brown eyes and also had a stubble.  You noticed that they had the same markings on their skin as you did as if they had encountered a Trico as you did. You then heard Trico roar and the two males revealed spears so you made your move and jumped in front of them "Don't hurt her!" you shouted.  The two males froze and their eyes widened and they lowered their spears slowly and Trico crouched behind you. You turned to soothed her "She will not hurt you unless you give her a reason to" you said as you turned back to them and crossed your arms "Now who are you two?" you asked.  The male with brown hair spoke up with a light Irish accent "I'm Sean but call me jack" then the one black hair said "I'm mark and you are...?" you hesitated before you answered "My name is (Y/n) pleased to meet you both what are you doing in this forest?". Sean answered with annoyance in his voice"We're lookin for a lost (gender) from our village. People say they were taken by a beast called Trico but I think they just ran away, to be honest, but if they did get taken by a Trico they'd probably dead by now, why are you in this forest (Y/n)??". You knew that you were the one they were talking about but you didn't want to tell the truth "I'm here to be in peace with my friend and protector-" you were interrupted my Trico roaring at something. "What is it girl?!" you grabbed the shield and got ready to aim at whatever she was roaring at.  Sean and Mark had rushed to your side and readied their spears...
