Chapter 5

"Mia, Mia, wake up!" I heard Leo say shaking me awake.

I came over straight after training to talk to Tasha really quick and eventually fell asleep somehow on their couch.

Looking up at him with droopy eyes I yawned and asked "what is it Leo? "

 "Oh good it's unlocked." I heard a very familiar voice that I haven't heard since I was very young.

Looking up towards the door I saw Tasha and grandma together.

"Mom! You're here." Tasha said nervously and I knew why.

Rose always tries to move in with Tasha every time she moves and it's ridiculous.

"Would have been here sooner if hadn't been for your stupid gate." Rose said pointing over at the door.

Tasha smiled while bragging "Oh that's just Donald's titanium security fence."

Rose made a driving gesture and said "Well if you ram it with your car hard enough it pops right open."

Rose looked over to Leo and I and said happily "Leo! There's my baby! Come give me some sugar! Grandma brought your favorite. Bran fruit cake." When Leo was handed the loaf he he almost fell over and said "Grandma you shouldn't have, and when I say you shouldn't have..."

Tasha glared at him and said warninly"Leo"

Grandma Rose looked over to me and smiled brightly "oh Mia! You look so big and pretty? Are you dating anyone because i can certainly make arrangements with some of my-"

"That won't be necessar-" that's when she cut me off and said "Who are they?"

I turned around and for the first time in a while I saw Adam, Bree and Chase.

Smiling I said "oh that's-"

"The...staff! Big house" Tasha cut me off smiling.

I looked over at her funny and asked "staff?"

"Staff?" Rose repeated after me, then shook her head in shame and continued"Oh Tasha, still so lazy."

Tasha growled as she tried to compose herself"And you're still so...my mother."

Rose looked at her approvingly and walked over to Adam asking rudely "So what do you do?"

Adam looked off into the distance as if remembering "Well I collect rocks, I lift heavy things, chase bugs..."

"Adam is our...chef!" Tasha interrupted over again.

Why is she lying to her mother? It's her mother! Actually I would have done the same, kind of.

"Oh, right, chef. You know normally I wear a puffy hat and yell things in Italian. Bonjour!" Does Adam even know what Bonjour means? It's not even Italian!

"What a wonderful sense of humor!" Tasha exclaimed giving her mother the best fake smile she could muster up.

"And who is she?" Rose asked rudely pointing over to Bree.

"Bree is Tasha's personal trainer." I said tiredly following along to their antics.

Rose tapped her chin and said "Ahhhh and what does a person trainer do?"

Bree looked at her nervously and replied "Its...personal?"

Tasha walked over to Chase stuttering  "And Chase is Leo's...nanny, man nanny. Manny!"
