Reminding me//Zanessa story

Chapter 2

ZAC
It's been a month since i saw Vanessa now, she didn't see me so we didn't talk. I wish i would've said something to her though.

I was on my phone when i got a text from Ashley

"Hey Zac!! Do you want to hang out today or something?"

"Yeah sure, where do you want to meet"

"Uhh, maybe Starbucks or something? I'm really craving it right now but after that we can go wherever you want"

"Alright, meet you there in 10!"

I got in my car and drove to the Starbucks place that me and Ashley always meet at.
I ran inside so the paparazzi's wouldn't see me, Ashley was already there.

"Hey Zac!"

"Hey!"
*we hugged*

We ordered our drinks and i had a bread with it, we decided to eat inside.

We've been talking for about 10 minuets when we saw a bunch of paparazzi's outside taking pictures and videos of someone.

"Who's that?"

"I have no idea, i can't see her face but i bet she's famous" *laughed*

We stared outside and tried to figure out who it was

"Oh my gosh, no way" Ashley said shocked

"What?" I asked

"Uh Zac, that's Vanessa... and i think she's coming in here"

"Oh, uh... What do i do!?"

"I don't know, should i say hi to her or should we try to hide so it wouldn't be awkward for you guys?"

"I don't know, i mean i really want to meet her but the paparazzi's will take pictures so i think that we need to hide or look down or something"

"Yeah i think you're right"

Then she walked inside, beautiful as always.
She was wearing a oversized hoodie, shorts, she had sunglasses and her long curly hair was down.

Me and Ashley went quiet and we both stared at her but we tried to hide at the same time.
Vanessa was talking to someone at the phone.

"Oh my gosh i hate paparazzi's"
"No Stella i mean how can i like them!? They are always taking pictures of me and ugh it's so annoying! I just want to be alone sometimes"

She has always hate them, i remember how i tried to hide her from them, she never liked them.

"Stella, you know that i'm going through a rough time right now, and they just always ask questions that i don't want to answer"

"No Stella! You don't understand! They ask questions like- "Why did Austin do that to you" and "Do you miss Zac" "Is Zanessa happening again" like NO it isn't"

My heart dropped, i got so sad when i heard that. My eyes filled with tears. Ashley looked at me and she saw how sad i was.
Vanessa was still on the phone listening to Stella while ordering her drink, she sat down two tables from us.

"Stella you know that there is probably nothing going to happen between me and Zac again, he hates me"
I could hear that she was sad, but why? Does she miss me? And how could she think that i hated her, i love her!

"I left him, i broke his heart! It's been eight years and he's obviously moved on!"
"What do you mean he hasn't!? He hates me, i know it, i can't do anything about it, i wish! but i can't"

There was a silence, she didn't say anything

"Anyways i gotta go Stella, i'll call you later okay?"
"Okay bye Stella, now i just have to get through the fu**ing paparazzi's"

I stared at her, i saw that she was really sad.
She had tears in her eyes but she wiped them away.
She put her sunglasses on, looked down and got outside.

"She still loves you" Ashley said.
