Chapter 1

Nicole's POV

"Hey!" I was greeted by the familiar voice of my friend Elise on the phone.

"Hi!" I replied, excited to start planning my trip to see her and my boyfriend.

Elise lives in Ohio while I live in California. She had met a group of people over the summer and she introduced me to one of the guys. Elise gave me his number and we've been dating for three months now.

His name is Zachary. He's super sweet and has blonde hair with dreamy blue eyes.

"How is everyone?" I asked.

"Um..good. My dads calling me. Talk to you later." Elise said, rushed. The line went dead.

"Ok?" I said even though she had already hung up. It was weird how she hung up so fast.

I'll text my friend Carter.

To: Carter :P

Hey!

Seconds later I got a reply.

From: Carter :P

Hey! Can I come over?

To: Carter :P

Sure.

From: Carter :P

Good. Cuz I'm in your drive way.

Then my door bell rang.

Wow, I love her so much.

I ran to the door and was greeted by Carter squeezing the living day lights out of me.

"Why hello to you too." I said laughing.

"Hi." she said, finally letting go.

"What's up?" I asked.

"My sister and her boyfriend were starting to get annoying, so I came here." Carter replied.

I nodded and we went up to my room.

I decorated my room when we moved in not that long ago. It had light orange walls. My queen sized bed had a duvet cover that had a white background with orange, blue, and green intermixed. I had a walk in closet and my own bathroom. I had a window that had a bench built into the sill. I loved reading there.

Carter plopped down on my bed and sighed.

"Want to go shopping?" I asked her, "My aunt is watching my brothers."

"Did you really just ask that? Hell yeah!" she said.

"Auntie! Cc and I are going shopping! We'll be back for dinner!" I yelled. I called Carter, Cc because her last name is Carson so it just makes sense.

I hopped in the passenger side of Cc's car and we drove to the mall. It's was 2:30 pm so we had some time.

"Where should we go first?" Cc asked.

"Um..Topman." I suggested. She nodded in agreement and we started walking.

"So how's Zachary?" Cc asked as we looked through the racks at American Eagle.

"Good. I haven't talked to him yet today. Elise was in a hurry." I said.

"I can't believe your dating someone you haven't even met." Cc said shaking her head.

"Hey, we've talked over the phone and texted. Same thing."

My phone started to buzz in my back pocket.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey." Elise started. "Um..Zach told me that he's breaking up with you."

"Woah....Uh....Oh." I said. "That's sudden."

"I know. Weird." Elise said. "So how's it going?"

"Um, I got to go." I said. I started to tear up. I know I haven't met Zach in person, but boy did I like him. I loved him and no one would ever understand that.

I slowly lowered my phone from my ear and looked up at Cc.

"What was that all about?" She asked.

"Elise just told me that Zach is breaking up with me." I said still in shock.

Cc walked up to me and gave me a hug. I started to cry and I wetted her shoulder.

My body shook with quiet sobs. "It's ok." she said rubbing circles on my back.

After about 5 minutes I wiped my cheeks and Cc said, "Do you want to go home now? We can buy some ice cream."

I nodded with a forced smile on my lips and she guided me out of the store. We had barely shopped because it was only 3:15, but I could tell Cc understood.

Liam's POV

"Liiiiaammm!" All the boys yelled at me.

"Sorry." I mumbled.

I decided to take a short cut to the arena, but ended up getting us lost.

It was our last night in Cali and it only made sense that we could get to the arena this way.

"Really mate? Why don't we just call Paul and ask him for directions?" Begged Niall.

"No!" I said, stopping him from dialing his phone, "he got so pissed when I got us lost last time."

Yes, this had happened one other time. In Chicago. Word of advice, ALWAYS follow the GPS.

"Who cares? We don't want to be late to our own show. Plus, Lou would be more mad than Paul if she doesn't have enough time to style us." Mentioned Harry, "Haha, get it? 'Style'."

"Jesus, Harry! Yes! We get it!" Louis yelled, "I don't know how I fell in love with a boy who has such dry humor..."

(A/N: Yes, I am a Larry shipper. I'm sorry, it had to be done.)

"Fine. Call Paul." I said, giving up.

Niall dialed his number and put it on speaker.

"Niall? Where are you guys?" Paul said as he picked up his phone.

"Ummm, about that." Niall replied rubbing the back of his neck. Look who's nervous now, I thought. "Liam kind of got us lost.... again."

"LIAM JAMES PAYNE! I SWEAR I THOUGHT YOU WERE THE MATURE ONE OF THE GROUP!" Paul screamed through the phone.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled yet again. I felt like a puppy being yelled at for weeing on the carpeting.

"Payne. Don't let it happen again," His voice now stern through the phone, "Where are you guys?"
