I moved away from touchy hands.
"Come on, don't be like that," A guy said, moving closer to me.
"I'm taken," I slapped his hand away.
"Is that a brush off?" He raised an eyebrow, moving against me. I scoffed. Turning around I hurried towards Sebastian, the guy followed.
Unable to find him, I sighed, "Where is he?" I mumbled under my breath.
Suddenly, I felt a hand on my arm again, and I turned around, ripping my hand from the grasp.
"Oh!" Mr. Wallis from before spilled his drink all over himself.
I paused, biting my lip and turning to see the man. Rolling my eyes, I turned to look at Henry, "Perhaps....." I started, "Have you seen my partner?"
"The tall guy, right?" He smiled.
I looked at him, and back into the crowd, "Yeah,"
"I guess he doesn't stand out too much then, huh?"
I looked at him, "Hm, or maybe he's just not in the room,"
Arms wrapped around my waist, "Hey~!<3" a drunken voice slurred. I twisted my face in disgust and pulled away, but as I did, a hand grabbed my arm and I spun around, held by Mr. Wallis.
"Hey," He said, "off the lady. She's not into you,"
The drunken middle aged man grumbled, "What's it to you? She's not your Lady,"
Mr. Wallis raise an eyebrow, "She's not my Lady?" quickly, he pecked my lips. I could have stopped him, but I didn't. I don't know why, but he was a gentleman enough to try to get the man away. If I were to embarrass him, I don't think I'd be able to live that down.
After grumbling something incoherent, the man stumbled away to look for some other lady. "Thank you," I mumbled out a note of gratitude. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. I raised an eyebrow at his sheepish behavior. It was he who kissed me, not the other way around.
"I'm sorry," He smiled, repentant of his kiss, "I had all intentions of finding your partner, but I guess...."
"One thing led to another, Mr. Wallis," I assured him, "No harm done. It was friendly." As I turned away, I noticed his change of posture. Turning back around, I saw that he had switched from his sheepish attitude to one of delight.
"You're different fro other women," He remarked in awe.
I smiled, "Yes, it seems to be if I'm just different, period." I mean, I was a Shinigami with no glasses. I mean, I'm a shinigami. There are no female Shinigami's. I'm Grell's twin. I'm a Shinigami in love with a Demon. I just happen to be a bit different from the rest.
He smiled, "It would be a pleasure if we were to become friends after this cruise,"
I locked my fingers together behind my back, "That is, if you're still around by the end of this cruise,"
"What do you mean?" His smile faltered slightly as he stared into my eyes. I let them flicker between colors with a smirk, "And it depends if you still want to know me after the end of this cruise,"
I turned away without further delay. I felt lonely without Sebastian by my side. As I got to the side of the party, I looked around, rather upset that I couldn't find him.
Suddenly, I was pulled into a room, dark and small. Hands rested on my hips and I could feel Sebastian's hot breath tickle my ear, "The scent of a human lingers on you," he pulled me aggressivly towards him.
