4 TIARAS RIHANNA COULD POTENTIALLY WEAR ON HER WEDDING DAY

It's *never* too early to start tiara shopping.

Although things like dates, guest invitations and ceremony locations are all relatively in the bag as far as speculation goes, those details are on the 'less fun' scale of things.

We want to know about the dress! The hair! The ring! And—of course, being a royal wedding—the tiara.

As a royal bride, RIhanna is entitled to borrow a tiara from the royal vaults to wear on her wedding day, as per every other royal bride (marrying into the family, or born into it) before her. Queen Elizabeth chose the stately Queen Mary's Fringe tiara (which famously broke on the morning of her wedding); Lady Diana Spencer wore her family's heirloom piece, the Spencer Tiara; Princess Margaret wore the colossal Poltimore Tiara; and Kate Middleton wore the subtle Cartier Scroll Tiara.

So, it begs the question (or, moreover, webeg the question): Which tiara will Rihanna choose for her big day? We've chased down four options.

THE STRATHMORE ROSE TIARA

The Strathmore Rose tiara was the gift the 14th Earl of Strathmore gave his daughter, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, who would later become the Queen Mother, when she married the Duke of York, later King George VI

The Strathmore Rose tiara was the gift the 14th Earl of Strathmore gave his daughter, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, who would later become the Queen Mother, when she married the Duke of York, later King George VI. The tiara is comprised of five rose prongs, set with rose-cut diamonds.

This would be a good choice for Rihanna for a number of reasons. One: it's not currently in use. The Queen, as a rule, doesn't like to lend out her favourite tiaras, so royal ladies (like Princess Anne, and Duchess Catherine) must choose from those she doesn't favour. The Queen has never worn this particular tiara, meaning it is up for grabs. Two: It has a strong symbolic link to the Queen Mother, one of the more beloved members of the royal family. Three: Considering no one else is using this one at the moment, there is the possibility that the Queen could loan it out to Rihanna long-term, so it becomes one of her regular tiaras.

Plus, there's the fact that it's very pretty and on the subtler side (or, as subtle as you can get with a load of diamonds on top of your head).
