                      Ailsa POV

I open the box and there's a picture and letter. But the letter specifically has Shauna's name on. I wake her and everyone else. Telling them to come to the dining room for a pack meeting. When she looks at the picture her eyes go wide.

"This picture is from when my family first moved here. My mom was pregnant with me.", she explains. The picture is of Shauna's  parents and siblings standing in front of Joe Lewis's fist. She then opens the letter and another picture falls out. She reads the letter.

EJ Dear my beloved little sister.  Sorry it took me so long to get in contact. But here's a new family picture I wanted you to have. But the family reunion wouldn't be complete without you. Oh, and feel free to bring your friends too, ESPECIALLY Ailsa. See you soon.

She reaches down to the floor and it's a Polaroid of her mother, father and sisters all bound and gagged. She gasp "No.", she says before tears begin to fall from her eyes. I grab her and I take the picture out of her hand. I begin to hold her tight as she cries into my shoulder. Anther grabs the picture from me.

"Fuck.", he says. I kiss her on top of her head. "Ok, new plan. I want him caught. But I DEFINITELY want him alive.", I say.  I'm irritated, enraged but I'm mostly saddened for Shauna. He says this is where he will be and my bond with the bastard pulled me here.

But once I get here. I couldn't find him. And now he somehow has Shauna's family. "Wait.", Dixon says. "If they're here. That means Levy and the warriors are dead."  He was angry before but now he's extremely angry.

Something isn't right with our linking and bonding. Then I hear. "Ramanga.", Shauna says. Shauna pulls back. Her eyes a bloodshot red from crying. "Huh?", I ask. "Why are mentioning her?", I ask confused.

"We've been completely in the dark since we got to Detroit. When we were in Louisiana. She was somehow able to block you out from hearing her. It's the only conclusion I can come to. There's no other reason why you shouldn't have been able to find EJ. She has to be involved somehow."

"But that doesn't explain why we didn't feel the warriors and Shauna's family were in danger.", Daniel says. Shauna pulls away completely. I sigh. "I swear I'm gonna kill that arsehole.", I spat. "No.", I hear Shauna respond. "No?", I ask completely confused. "No, I'm gonna kill him", she says coldly.

A few hours later, we're in the living room and we've clear out everything except some fold up chairs and and fold up table. I'm watching as Anther and Daniel are working with Shauna on controlling her emotions and shifting. "Most of the things Chèe has taught you about focus when it comes to magic and spells can be used to help you control your shift. Controlling your emotions are also key. ", Anther tells Shauna.

"I'm not gonna lie. It's gonna hurt like it did before and for awhile. Until your body gets used to it." I have to look away when I see her face. She's scared but I'm not sure how to comfort her. She told me if I say I'm sorry again she'd punch me and she was being serious I could tell.

I look around and on the other side of the room I see Chèe and Dani practicing English and Creole. I like seeing how close they've gotten, but my heart always gets heavy when I see them together. My head whips around when I hear Shauna say, "Hold on I like this outfit. Lemme take it off." The guys laugh.

I sit back and clinch my jaw. I can't do anything. She HAS to be naked around everyone now. She has to feel the pain of shifting on a regular basis now. She joked but when she looked up towards me. I can tell she's extremely uncomfortable and nervous.

I did this to her. She takes off her shirt but then looks in my eyes. "Hey guys give me a sec.", she says and throws her shirt back on. She walks over to me. Shauna then stands in front of me and begins to kick a my shoe. "Hey.", she says. "Hey.", I don't look her eyes. I then say, "I'm sorry." I feel awful for putting her through this. I can't help it. I had to say it again, because I am sorry.
