Dylan POV

Ailsa shoots me a text.

Ailsa: We've all agreed it's time to come back home. We're on our way back to the house to pack then we want to be on our way back to London. Are you able to pull some strings to get us a flight home.

Dylan: Of course A, now who are you talking to? You should know I can get it done easy peasy.

Ailsa: Thanks I appreciate it. There are SO many things we have to discuss Dylan...but we should do it in person.

Dylan: Ok sounds good to me. Text me when you land. You'll get your flight soon, go pack. 👋🏻

I'm so happy everyone is alive and well and I'm so glad everyone is coming back it's been absolute madness out here. I hope Ailsa and Shauna aren't expecting to come back here to calm and relaxation. I've explained but it's totally different once you see all the carnage and destruction that's been happening. Hybrids weren't only in the states. Kristoff has joined forces with the Crescent Moon Wolfpack and the Gangrel vampire clan. They've been churning out hybrids as if they are a manufacturing factory and as time goes on it seems as though more and more people are being turned.

Ailsa has only heard about the madness. She has yet to see just how bad everything has gotten. Beheadings, humans being killed, fighting front of humans. I'm almost positive she will have to fight almost immediately. I'll happily hand over the reins to her. I'm a fighter this manage things as an Alpha is foreign to me and the way things currently are is also foreign to the rest of the order as well. Ailsa grew up around this stuff. I grew up around mostly fighters who took orders not gave them. Being thrust into everything with no real training and experience has been a real wake up call.

We've lost about 35 members here in CL alone and that's 35 members too many. We've lost damn near ten thousand across Europe. To top it off Kristoff has been toying with me, specifically by having his people show up in same places I am just watching me. Staring at me, purposely making me uneasy. I'm always paranoid that fighting will start out at anytime and not only my pack members but humans will die.

But on a positive note, I've learned EJ is dead and he wasn't even needed to find Kristoff. My intel here found of he's in Saxon. Saxon isn't that big and being of royal blood means only his highness would want only the very best. Lingnerschloss is the very best and closest to Saxon. Thing is Lingnerschloss is a tourist site. Meaning there's a lot of dead/possibly undead people and or wolves there awaiting us. Well bloody fucking hell. I just can't win.

Shauna POV

Dylan is a miracle worker. She was able to not only get us on the next flight back to London out of Metro, but all 8 of us are in first class. She's amazing. I'm still distraught. But seeing Chèe's little eyes light up when sees that the massive sized reclining seats that practically turn into beds, makes me chuckle and smile.

"Go take a pick a seat kid.", Ailsa tells her. She of course chooses to sit near Dani. Ailsa hugs me. "I hope she likes London.", I tell Ailsa. "She'll be fine, she love it there." Dani has been helping us look into adoption and file paperwork. Ailsa will definitely be able to pull strings to get around not having any documentation for Chèe. She has friends in high places everywhere. It's fucking weird to think. I'm about to officially become a mom.

And not just a mom. A mom to a fifteen year old. I'm just twenty four. I've gone from being single and running from tragedies in Detroit to being married and running from tragedies in Haiti Louisiana and Detroit.

Both times, I've run to London to start a new chapter. Now I'm starting life as a married woman and new mom. I know shit is still fucked up right now and Kristoff is still out there but I have way too much love and joy that's in my life right now, to not be able to overcome this sadness I'm in. I back  tears as I think of my family.

I am happily looking forward to my future life. As I'm thinking this Ailsa pulls me in close and kisses me on my forehead I lean into her lips. I smile as I see the sun shine through the window and it make both of our wedding rings sparkle. "I love you Shauna." is what I hear as I doze off.

Ailsa POV

As we're getting set to land in merry ol London. I sit and watch my family aka my pack, sleep. All of them are sleep except Chèe she's wide awake looking out the window brimming with excitement. I can't help but be amused and smile. She's always so full of curiosity. It reminds me of Shauna and when I first met her.

It seems way longer but Shauna haven't even been together six months, yet she knows me better than anyone. I really don't know how I existed before her and I definitely can't imagine my life without her now. Everything is so different in my life, now that I've met her and we've been through so much together already. I'm so nervous scared about my pack and the future. But yet so happy and excited for what's to come in my life now.

I get ready to text Dylan to let her know we're back and we've safely landed. But before I can send the message I get a call from a number I wasn't expecting to see, a number I haven't seen in awhile. The voice is still the same. I'd still rather listen to nails on a chalkboard.

Kristoff: Willkommen zurück in der Stadt(Welcome back to town).

Shit, not this fucking wanker. I haven't even texted Dylan or hell even stepped foot back on British soil and it's already starting up again. Bloody fucking hell. Well, I guess welcome back home to me.
