The Major and his Lady Love Story

Prologue: Meeting the Major for the first time

*In the town of Setauket one Spring morning at the Woodhull House*

Love works in strange ways a love between two different beings from different countries England and America, well for me I fell for the man I met for the first time when I was in New York for picking up my new gown and was in a carriage going back home to Setauket small place but my brother and father live there still and my oldest brother died in battle and my mother was also dead.
But when I returned to Setauket I could see my home where I would always be welcomed I was 18 when I first met him his name was Edmund Hewlett he was different from all the men I've met before. When the carriage stopped in front of my house I saw father, Abraham, Mary, their son, and Edmund outside waiting for me to step out so they could greet me.

When I stepped out my father Richard Woodhull greeted me first of course what parent wouldn't, he had introduced to Captain Edmund Hewlett because that was the rank he was when we met before I went back to New York for school again but longer maybe another 3 years.

* About 3 years later in Setauket and New York *
~Sasha Woodhull's POV~

As an 18 year old things happened between Edmund and I during the 4 weeks I was in Setauket my father thought it would be a good idea to get to know him so I agreed and I was curious as well, so then Edmund and I took a walk together and while we were he asked if he could court me I of course agreed and we've been together since then.
But that was 3 years ago before I went back to New York and he stayed in Setauket with his men, my friend Lydia was also in love with General Washington the leader of the Revolution the age between them weren't that far apart the two of them were the same age because they born the year of 1732 but George was still older than Lydia. But she kept it from her Aunt and Uncle her parents died of influenza so she stays with her sister Anna Strong and her husband Selah, so then Lydia and I went to school together we were in our 20's.
Now I'm done with school and once again heading home by carriage with my black stallion horse tied to the back of my carriage heading home with Lydia accompanying me home.
~Lydia Strong's POV~

I was in my friends carriage we were going home finally after 6 years of going to school learning in education, how to shoot, and how to sword fight if it comes to one. But I was in the carriage thinking about the man I love General Washington I am in my late 20's we're not so far apart in age.
Sasha Woodhull as I understand it has a lover waiting for her back in Setauket, he was a Captain when they first met she was 18 years old now she's 22 years old I'm sure they'll be happy to see each other. So I was accompanying her home I was more respectful than Anna my older twin sister. I can't wait to see her again I wonder if Anna got rid of my box of love letters that George and I wrote to each other when we first met.
* Finally arriving home in Setauket with Lydia*
When Lydia and Sasha finally arrived home the carriage stopped in front of the Woodhull House and the girls just wanted to relax and spend time with their families for the meantime and Lydia wanted to write a letter to her General her Aunt and Uncle had introduced her to George Washington and the two clicked.
As Sasha spent time with Captain Hewlett taking walks together and looking at the stars naming them as they search the night skies. Sasha and Captain Hewlett were also meant to be together.
