*Months passed by and a year gone by in Setauket on February 3rd, 1775 one morning*
~Sasha Woodhull's POV~I woke up to the sun coming into my curtains as I was in my dreamless sleep, so then once I got up I got dressed for my morning nobody was up yet I at least hope not I would like to have a day to myself then again when is that ever possible so I once dressed I went downstairs to have breakfast only when I got to the bottom of the stairs Edmund was standing there in his uniform as if he knew I would be up at this time of morning.
~Major Hewlett's POV~
When I woke up this morning I got dressed into my uniform I planned a picnic lunch for Sasha and I today by the lake behind the Woodhull's house and it's a lovely day. So I went downstairs to check the kitchen if everything was ready for our picnic later this morning I ordered the cook to make breakfast for Sasha and I since she'll be up in a few minutes. Then again I have some time to as I was day dreaming about Sasha and I getting married when our war is over, so then as such happened I hear heels coming down the stairs slowly and then Sasha came down wearing one of her newer dresses that's when I heard her voice at the last step of the stairs. So as such Sasha said"Edmund are you alright darling you seem dazed," so I snapped out of my trance and said"Oh I'm fine Sasha sweetheart shall we have breakfast together," and that's what we did.
~Sasha Woodhull's POV~Once Edmund and I were downstairs he escorted me to the dining room where breakfast was ready for us two I think he has some plans for today. Oh I also came back from New York before the year was done I went to go pay Peggy a visit then I went to buy some new clothes before coming back to Setauket. Also helping Abe with turning the tide of this war with Anna, Lydia, Ben, and Caleb's help we can change the course of this war if we only knew what the British Army was up to.
*Later on that morning for lunch by the lake behind the Woodhull's house*~Sasha Woodhull's POV~
As the day went by Edmund and I had a lunch picnic by the lake behind my house as such a maid from the house came with a letter from Lydia I thanked my maid as she left and I stood up and stood by a nearby tree and opened it while Edmund was fixing up our lunch that he packed from the kitchen.
Dearest Sasha,
I hope this letter finds you some comfort but as you know I've been with George at the Continental Army campsite. We've been planning our next attack against the British army, we've been sending spies disguised as British officials to see what they are up to without being shot on the spot. Also Ben and Caleb have been with Abe planning what they can do to change our efforts in this war I mean Selah is gone on a prison boat and it's just Anna and I running this tavern for the time being and we're being evicted from our own house and giving it to the British officers.
But fret not my dear friend we have a plan at least Abe does he's currently searching for a person who can find out what the British are up to without it being suspicious, also I'll be returning to Setauket today by then which I hope you've burnt this letter I don't need it to fall into the wrong hands.
I shall see you and Edmund soon I shall stop by your place for dinner tonight.
Love always your friend,
Lydia Strong
After reading it I placed the letter into my dress pocket and went back to Edmund who had all the food ready as well also. So the two of us enjoyed our lunch before he had to go to the "church" to handle British business as does my father while I invite Mary to come see me while I stay home sewing and needlepointing patterns cloths for the tables.
