Chapter 14: Sasha and the Major's ball planning

*The next morning in Sasha's bedroom winter December 12th, 1774*
~Sasha Woodhull's POV ~

I'm feeling much better now with my fiancée's help, so then with that I woke up to see Mary my darling sister in law holding my hand praying for me to get better. I groaned and said"Mary I feel so much better now my fever is gone," then Mary cried as she agreed with me. After we laughed Abraham and Thomas came into my room with breakfast in his hands he had set the tray on my lap before my brother hugged me as he said"Thank goodness your alright now Sasha we've had word from Lydia she and General Washington have won another battle," then I thanked him for telling me the news.
~Major Hewlett's POV~
I was in my room after checking up on my fiancé and taking care of her, I'd do anything for Sasha when we first met we both knew that we were meant to be together. But I laid in my bed asleep tired from taking care of Sasha her fever still wasn't broken yet, so as such happened I prayed that she's alright now we need to plan for our engagement ball for thanksgiving in the upcoming months. Then I simply began to dream about me and Sasha together.
Hewlett's dream about him and Sasha:

*At the Strong's tavern that same morning with Selah and Anna working with Lydia returning as well*
~Captain Simcoe's POV~
I was currently at the Strong's tavern having a drink and making conversation with Mrs. Strong whilst the rest of the British officers were drinking and talking. That's when another young lady walked in to the Tavern wearing a dress that compliments her skin, I went to go speak with her. So I sat down in front of the young lady as I drank my ale and said"And what is the name of the young lady I must speak with," then she turned and said"I'm Lydia Strong I'm the tavern's entertainer and server I run this place with my sister and her husband," ah so Mrs. Strong has a sister whose even fairer than she is.
~Lydia Strong's POV~

Oh, I'm glad to be home and spend some time with Anna, Abe, Mary, Little Thomas, and Sasha. General Washington has a plan to defeat the British at our next battle hopefully it works, so I was in a carriage heading to the tavern where my sister and Selah were at working making our customers very happy. I've got to remember to visit Sasha later after my shift I owe Anna that much after not writing to her for a year and a half.
When I entered the tavern everyone stopped and looked at me and I saw Anna and Selah the two ran towards me. My sister going first yelling at me "Oh my god Lydia your back," then we hugged each other, after our reunion I went to the counter where my things were at and placing my apron on my body.
*Meanwhile at the Woodhull's house in Setauket that day*
~Sasha Woodhull's POV~
I got dressed and got into a dress I got in New York, so then afterwards I decided to take a walk through the gardens. But I didn't notice that Edmund was in the gardens sitting on a bench, things are getting out of hand here in Setauket I'm getting mad but I'm glad Abe sent Ben and Caleb the plans I found in Edmunds room. It was a nice day out to take a stroll.
Sasha in the garden:

I needed to get out of the house it's so stuffy being cooped up in your room when your sick. But it's nice to be able to get out and enjoy the sun shine and my stroll through the gardens, so then as such happened Edmund saw me and called me over I was surprised. That's when the two of us walked around linking arms, so then as such happened Edmund said"Since you're all better now I was thinking we could throw a ball," then I looked at him with concerning look in my eyes.
A ball now as future Mrs. Hewlett I will not be doing such things. So I held his hand and said" Darling I've only just gotten better may we hold our ball for Thanksgiving," then he agreed with me once again before saddling up his horse and going back to the church in town. I'm once again left on my own thinking about a lot of things my thoughts then go to how we're gonna decorate the place for a ball I can agree with hosting an engagement party.

~Judge Woodhull's POV~
It's been hours since our plane has been decorated by our servants tonight we're holding a party in honor of Major Hewlett's and Sasha's Engagement to one another. She told me that she wants to celebrate her and Major Hewlett's engagement on Thanksgiving which is in the upcoming months but she'll be the one to oversee the decorations for the place with the servants. Her mother and older brother would be so proud of her if they could only see her now.
~Mary Woodhull's POV~
I was at my father in laws house with Thomas while Abe was with Anna and Selah asking them questions, so then Thomas went to the window where he saw his Aunt Sasha walking in the garden. Abe is a double spy for both sounds but he gives false facts to the British, I was making a handkerchief for Sasha she lost her old one so I'm making her a new one. Then one the maids came in with a tray of water and cookies for Thomas and I to snack on, so I called Thomas over and said"Thomas why don't you come eat your cookies and drink some water your Aunt Sasha will be in shortly," then he followed my orders and sat down on the small table we had made for him whenever he came to visit.
