Weeks has passed and Niall still hasn't woken up. I've visited him everyday after school and at the weekends. Christmas holidays were coming up and the thought of not spending it with Niall was depressing me.

It felt like everything had changed in the last few weeks, the group didn't feel the same without Niall - even when Jake got out of hospital - and to be honest it wasn't just the group, the whole school felt different. Or it could have just been me.

My grades had slipped, and so had my style. You'd be shocked to see me wear makeup anymore, and my usual outfits were oversized sweatshirts and leggings.

My mom was worried and my moods were all over the place, I'd get angry and do something mean before crying about it once I went to bed.

My friends had decided to try and get back to normal so that it was normal when Niall got back. My positive attitude had changed after a few days and I've been feeling like shit since.

But this wasn't about me which is why I was driving to the hospital even though I had a shitload of homework.

Once I got to the hospital I had to go to the bathroom because I could hardly last ten minutes without peeing anymore. I suppose that was all thanks to the... secret id been keeping.

The secret wasn't the reason I was wearing oversized sweaters either, it was extremely cold outside during the morning and although the day would get warmer I found my sweaters comfortable.

When I got to Niall's room I noticed the usual young nurse checking all the usual stuff, i was surprised when she turned around and smiled towards Niall's bed.

Creepy or?

I stopped walking towards the room when she started talking.

'Was he moved?' I thought to myself.

I walk closer to the door and my heart skips a beat when I see Niall sitting up and smiling at the nurse.

He's awake.

I walk in, a huge smile on my face.

Niall's eyes shift to me and he smiles.

The nurse tells us she'll give us a minute before leaving.

"Hey stranger." I say, walking to the side of his bed and taking a seat.

"Long time no see." Niall says, his voice hoarse.

"How are you feeling?" I Ask.

"Like I've taken a really long nap." He chuckles. "But other than that I wouldn't think I was in a car crash."

"Good, How was your really long nap? Everyone's missed you."

"It was weird. I remember hearing some things."

My heart stops. I've said a lot of stuff.

"Only bits though, and I can't really make everything out." Niall finishes.

"Your probably sick of my voice by now." I say.

"How much did you visit?"

"I just came to see you everyday." My cheeks burn. "Just to see if you'd woken up. I was hoping I'd be here when you did."

"Your here now and April was anyway so don't worry I was worried."

"April?" I Ask. "Oh right the nurse."

"Yeah, she was really nice. Helped me up and made sure I knew the year and everything."

I smile, it's fake. "That's good."
