"Hey look, water." I say pointing to the river in front of me and Octavia. We look at each other and giggle slightly before bounding over to the waters edge and starting to strip down to our underwear and tank tops. The group catches up to us and Clarke being Clarke has to step up.

"Octavia! Elliana!" She calls out after us. I shrug and jump in nonetheless. At least if I die it's in the water for the first time. I always thought the water was beautiful from the Ark.

"Girls we can't swim." Monty says worrying.

"I know." Octavia says peering up at them.

"But we can stand." I chuckle as we rise to our full height as I take a couple of steps back and try floating which I succeed in.

"Wait, there's not supposed to be a river here." Clarke observes looking around. "So? There is and it feels nice. So shut up and take your clothes off." I instruct as I stand up again.

"All of you." Octavia adds raising her eyebrows. All of their eyes fixate on something behind me and Octavia.

"Girls get out of the water!" Jasper yells making me turn around to see a giant water snake monster speeding our way. My eyes widen and I turn around and push Octavia towards the shore to get her out of the way as fast as possible, doing my best to keep my promise.

"Go Octavia!" I yell trying to get up behind her but I don't. I'm pulled back by the monster from my leg as I cry in pain. I get pulled underwater and this is when I start to freak out. I go to scream but instead my mouth and lungs are filled with the dirty river water. I flail my arms and kick my legs but it does no good until the monster let's go of my leg and swims away. I gasp for air when my head breaks the surface of the water and swat my arms trying to swim but eventually just end up coughing a lot because of the water being splashed back into my mouth.

"Hurry up! Get her to the shore!" Octavia yells as Finn trudges into the river a few feet reaching out for me and then pulling me to land.

"Come on! It's headed towards you guys!" Monty warns as Finn pulls me further up just in case and lays me on the grass. My heart beating fast, lungs burning more than ever and most importantly my leg being torn up as blood oozes out of the wound. I hear a shirt rip and hope that it's Finn's shirt. Heh. Clarke took the strip of shirt and tied my wound trying to help which it did a little. I pant whispers to everyone and close my eyes leaning my head back down on solid ground and just catching my breath.

"You're going to be okay." Clarke states as she finishes tying the shirt.

"Thank you." I whisper to her as I sit up and hug Finn tightly. "Thanks for saving my life Loverboy." I say in his ear.

"Note to self: next time, save the girl." Monty states once he sees me and Finn hug making all of us chuckle.

"Help me up?" I ask him as I pull away. Finn nods and stands reaching down for me then helping me up. I start to walk with a major limp and slowly get the hang of it. "I'm going to try and find my way back to camp." I state as my leg starts to hurt. I won't be able to make it across the river and to Mount Weather.

"No you can't. It's too dangerous by yourself." Clarke says continuing to walk.

"Well I'm going either way. Someone can come but I'm going back I won't be able to cross the river and get to Mount Weather unless I'm half dead." I snap turning away and walking in the direction we came hoping I was right.

"No just come on. We'll-" and that was the last I heard of Clarke's voice until I wandered off for good whether she liked it or not. I was slow and very uncomfortable but I wanted to get back to camp more than anything.
