"My friends, this is a historic Unity Day. Every year we mark the moment our ancestors of the twelve stations joined to form the Ark, but this is the last time we do so aboard her." Jaha explains over the camera and radio. "Next year, on the ground." He announces earning an applause on his side.

"Right. After we did all of the work." Miller retorts. "Someone shut him up."

"You shut up Miller. No ones forcing you to watch." Raven barks.

"For ninety seven years we have eked our an existence hoping that someday our descendants would return to earth." Jaha continues.

"Don't tell me you two don't like unity day." Clarke says as me and Finn stand on the ramp of the drop ship.

"Unity Day is a lie." I say after me and Finn share a look.

"The Ark only came together after the thirteenth station was blown out of the sky." Finn elaborates.

"It just happens to be one of the things about our history we don't talk about at parties." I explain.

"Well the Unity day story gives people hope though, and peace came out of that violence." Clarke counters.

"Unity Day sucks. Let's leave it at that." I say before walking away.

"Woo! Yeah!" Jasper hoops and hollers coming out of a tent with a jug. "Monty strikes again! Hey! Hey! Call this batch Unity Juice!" Jasper cheers running into the crowd. "Who's thirsty?" He asks filling my cup as a crowd forms around him wanting some of the moonshine.

<

"Hey, Baby." I slur walking over to Bellamy when I see Clarke walking away.

"Hey there, Sunshine." Bellamy chuckles taking the cup from my hand. "Let's stick to softer stuff for the rest of the night."

"I'm not even drunk." I say sobering my tone of voice.

"Right."

"You were talking to Clarke?" I ask him looking over my shoulder to see her drinking.

"Yeah-" Bellamy answers.

"What about?"

"Unity Day, the grounders. Having fun." He explains taking a bite from his apple. "Why?"

"No reason. Just making conversation." I say going to walk away but he grabs my wrist. "What?" I ask raise my eyebrows.

"Come here." Bellamy chuckles making me roll my eyes. "Come on."

"I hate you." I say walking back to him and hugging him say.

"That's not what Unity Day is about El." He reprimands.

"Well I never liked Unity Day in the first place." I retort squeezing him as we hug.

"Happy Unity Day." He whispers kissing the top of my head.

"Yeah yeah."

<

"Bell-" I moan as we walk backwards into his tent our lips not leaving each other. Walking backwards I take my jacket off and throw it on the ground.

"Hey! Bellamy!" Clarke's voice rings as the tent flap opens making us pull apart quickly.

"What do you want Clarke?" I ask annoyed and sliding my jacket back on.

"I need to talk to you." She answers walking in the tent.

"We were in the middle of something." Bellamy explains gesturing to the bed.
