Joey's POV

Get out your guns, battles begun

I stand in my bathroom and stare at myself in the mirror with tears rolling down my red and puffy face. What am I? Why do I look like this? Why do I do the things I do? Why is he in love with me? Is he in love with me? If he was in love with me he wouldn't have cheated. Was I not good enough?

They say before you start a war
You better know what you're fighting for. Well baby, you are all that I adore
If love is what you need, a soldier I will be

I pull the gun off the marble bathroom counter and continue to cry in the mirror. Im a mess. Is that why he did what he did? I put one bullet into the gun and I sit myself on the counter. I hold the cold metal against my head and sob. I pull the trigger once.

"For falling in love," I whisper. I roll the thing again. (A:N- Lol idk what its called) I pull the trigger again. Nothing.

"For trusting someone," I whisper again. A loud sob escapes my lips. Thats when I new I had fucked up.

You see, Daniel doesnt know I know he cheated. I saw a text on his phone from some guy. And it was very flirtatious. So I checked the other messages and Daniel has been texting him behind my back. The guys name was Ryland Adams. It was probably because I started a huge fight with him over work times. Weve been ignoring each other since. But he is here right now and probably heard me cry. I have to go faster.

"Joey?" I hear as he walks up the stairs. Shit. I roll the thing and pull the trigger again. Nothing. Dammit!

"For Daniel," I say one last time. I slightly push on the the trigger but not as hard yet. Daniel comes into the bathroom. I pull the trigger.

3rd Person

Daniel walks into the bathroom and screams out his beautiful boyfriends name. As Joey pulls the trigger.

Daniels eyes begin to blur. He falls on his knees sobbing and screaming Joey's name. His vision goes dizzy and Daniel falls to the ground, hitting his head on the door.

One Hour Later

Daniels eyes softly flutter open and he looks around his surroundings. He instantly remembers what happened and it hit him like a truck. Joey was dead. His prince just died in front of him. He was never going to see him again. Daniel started to sob violently. He had a rag on his head. His mom must've found him and Joey on the bathroom floor.

"D-d-daniel?" Daniel hears a soft voice ask. A familiar voice. Daniel looks up lip quivering, tears falling, and body shaking. He cant believe his eyes.

"Joey? JOEY! Please be real p-p-please," Daniel sobbed at the blonde boy in front of him.

"Im real Daniel. The bullet didn't stay in the right place. It should've but it didnt." Joey explains.

Daniel was confused as to why he would do this.

"Why?" Daniel sobbed.

"Because I thought I lost you!! No! I know I lost you! To some fucker named Ryland Adams! You cheated on me! I loved you and youve broken me!" Joey sobbed. Joey had this all mixed up.

"No, no, no, no! Joey! Shane had my phone! His died and he needed to borrow mine to text his boyfriend! I would never do that to you! I love you! And I t-thought you killed yourself! I thought I lost you," Daniel has never cried this hard in his life. He thought he just lost his life.

"Oh my god," Joey felt so stupid. He almost took his precious life because of a text.

"Im so stupid." He cried. He fell into Daniels arms and they both sobbed. Daniel was holding him like he'd disapear any second.

"Your not stupid. If you cheated on me i wouldve killed myself to to be honest," daniel said holding the fragile boy.

This night was full of talking, crying, and kissing. It was the worse night of both of their lives.

But in the end they still loved each other, and would do anything to protect one another.
