Tried to Leave//Part 3

Daniel held their hands together, as he sobbed into the blanket.

¨Please don't leave me. Your all I have,¨ Daniel cried. Suddenly his ears are filled with the dreadful noise of the monitor speeding up. It started slowly, but now it was beeping faster than it ever should. Daniel stood up, as quick as he panicked. Daniel had never been so terrified in his life. 

He pounded his hand on the help button. ¨NURSE! NURSE PLEASE HELP HES DYING!¨ Daniel yelled. He ran out to the lobby area, as he saw two nurses and a doctor running towards him. They rush into Joey's room, gently pushing Daniel behind the door, locking it. Daniel pounded on the door, screaming and crying. Maria rushed over and tried to pull him away, but it didn't work. Daniel was to scared, and to strong.  

The doctor pulled out a machine, and had the nurses helping him with it. The took off Joeys shirt, and  placed the machine on his chest.

¨CLEAR!¨ The doctor yelled. The machine jolted making even the bed move. Daniel yelled, and yelled Joeys name.  Maria cried, but not as much as Daniel. The doctor placed the machine to the side, sighing as he looked at his watch.

Daniel faintly heard him say, ¨Time of death, 4:53 PM,¨ And with that, Daniel fell to the floor, sobbing, screaming, and pounding on the floor. Maria leaned down and held him in her arms, as he thrashed and kicked. Maria sobbed as Daniel thought of every time, every memory, every heart break, and every kiss.

FlashBack----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Daniel and Joey were sitting on lawn chairs, in Joey's backyard. They had had there ups and downs, but they were finally dating, and had been dating for two months. Joey nor Daniel could be happier, and Joey knew Daniel loved him, and Joey loved Daniel.

But Joey hadn't told Daniel yet. He wanted to do it in a special way. So he looked up how to say, 'I love you' in Romanian, which was Te Iubesc. Joey was nervous, but looked over at Daniel anyway.

¨Te Iubesc,¨ Joey said, quietly but noticeable. Daniels content face, turned into the biggest grin and Joey giggled a bit.

¨Te Iubesc Joseph,¨ Daniel said, leaning over and kissing him passionately.

End of flashback-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Daniel snapped out of it as he heard a petite nurse voice yell, ¨HE'S ALIVE!¨ Daniel whimpered, and his lip quivered, but he stood up, looking through the small door window. There he saw Joeys eyes, teary, yet open, and his breathing was sharp. But he was breathing. 

¨J-Joey,¨ Daniel whimpered, the doctor came to the door and opened it.

¨Hes alive. I don't know how, but he made it. Congratulations Daniel. Take it easy on him, he is still in a lot of pain.¨ The doctor explained. Daniel smiled and hugged the doctor. The doctor was shocked, yet hugged Daniel back. Daniel whispered, ¨Thank you,¨ And ran into the room to see his boy.

"Joey! Joey your alive! P-please say your okay, a-are you okay?" Daniel cries as he runs into the room, burying his face in Joeys shoulder crying. Joey starts to cry, and he hugs Daniel tightly.

"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have tried to leave you." Joey cries. Daniel shakes his head.

"No, don't be sorry. You w-were hurting and I couldn't help you, I'm sorry." Daniel explains, leaving kisses on Joeys shoulder.

"This isn't your fault. A-and Daniel when we get home, we are throwing away e-every bottle of alcohol  I swear," Joey says holding on tight.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

And that is the end of this mini series!!
