3rd Person

Daniel ran from the ring shop straight to the flower place sweating. He was so nervous for tonight, but he was also excited.

"Three dozen red roses please," Daniel said to the man.

"Alright I'll prepare those, that will be $98.79 please," said the man.

Daniel had already spent 11,000 dollars on the perfect ring for Joey. But he didn't care how much he spent. All he cared about was Joey.

"Here ya go," The man said as he came back with the roses. Daniel paid the man and walked out and hurried home.

Joey wouldnt be home until 8. He had had Hope take him out to Dave and Busters so that he could plan this.

He had been planning this for weeks. Him and Joey had been together for three years now. And he loved him more than anything.

It was now 7:00 and Daniel was putting all of this together. In the kitchen he had made an award winning dinner and now he was placing roses everywhere. He put a song track on that timed everything perfectly. So that when he was ready Dont Wait would start to play.

He was ready, and very nervous. He placed the ring box in his back pocket. Just then he heard the door open. He was sweating. He was shaking. And he was nervous as ever. He rushed to the front door and hugged and kissed Joey.

"Thanks big man! Is there music playing?" He asks.

"By Hope,"  Daniel says making eye contact with her. She winks at him and walks out.

Daniels grab Joeys arm and drads him to the kitchen. Joey giggles the whole time until they finally get there and Joey stares in awe.

"Daniel, did you do all this?" He questions looking around in shock.

"Y-yeah. Do you l-like it?" Daniel questions worringly.

"Danny I love it! Whats all this for?"Joey asks wrapping his arms around Daniel.

"J-just something special I guess," Daniel said so nervous that he was stuttering.

They sat down and enjoyed the amazing food, much to Joey's delight.

"This Is amazing Daniel," Joey said kissing him on the cheek.

Suddenly Daniel started shaking as Dont Wait started. Joey looked at him with some much love and lust as the song played.

As it got to, 'All the monsters in your head now,' Daniel decided it was time.

He got on one knee and Joeys mouth opened wide in shock. He knew exactly what was happening.

"Joey Michael Graceffa. The love of my life. We have been through so much together. Hell and back and back again. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. You are the most beautiful, perfect, smart, and funny boy I've ever met. And If I didn't meet you I would be a really depressed guy. You are the good in me. And I need a little good in my life. Because without it, there's a whole lot of darkness. I could've waited to do this. But I didn't want to. Because as you taught me, don't wait. I can't live without you. And saying this, Joey will you marry me?" Daniel asked tearing up a bit as Joey started crying tears of joy.

"Y-yes! Oh my God yes! I love you so much Daniel," he says as he falls on Daniels lap, wrapping his arms around him. He leans back and Daniel slides the iridescent ring onto his finger.

"Its Beautiful," Joey says in almost a whisper.

"You're beautiful," Daniel says. Joey laughs a bit and cries at the same time. He kisses Daniel passionatly.

This was by far the best day of Daniel and Joey's life.
