Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy were getting ready for the winter formal. Maria and Theodosia had come over to get ready too. "I think we're ready," said Angelica. Everyone nodded and they walked out the door.
"Is anyone going with a boy? Cause I'm not," Theo asked.
" No," everyone replied.
The girls arrived at the dance and walked in. It was a wonderland! "I'm gonna talk to John," Peggy said as she ran over to a boy with curly brown hair.
"I'm gonna talk to that boy James Madison," Maria said. She awkwardly walk toward James.
"Bye," Theo said as she walked toward a boy named Aaron Burr. Suddenly Eliza saw the most handsome boy walk by. She almost lost her balance.
Eliza ran over to her sister and whispered, "This one's mine." Angelica dropped her punch and her stomach flipped like a pancake. She walked over to the boy Eliza liked named Alexander Hamilton and talked to him. Then, Angelica and Alexander danced for awhile.
After they danced, Alex asked, "Where are you taking me?"
Angelica replied, "I about to change your life."
"Them by all means, lead the way," Alex said.
" Elizabeth Schuyler. It's a pleasure to meet you," Eliza said.
" Schuyler," asked Alex.
"My sister. I'll leave you to it." Angelica replied. She left the formal feeling hopeless not helpless.
