Chapter Twenty

I'm four months pregnant now, I'm with Mariana, Alex's mother at the ultrasound place. We get to find out if I'm having a boy or a girl. After the shooting, Alex and I have done nothing further sexually speaking. There has been no further development and I'm starting to become sexually frustrated. I mean, you can't just tease me than completely stop for a month and a half.

I know it's petty, but I love him and he's the first guy I want to sleep with. I'm ready, I know I am and he seems to be completely blind to the fact. I sigh and shake my head.

"What's wrong?" Mariana asks. I blush, how can I tell her that I'm upset because her son can't see I want to have sex with him.

"N-Nothing" She chuckles slightly.

"This is to do with sex isn't it?" I almost choke on my breath.

"Is he bad in bed? Doesn't know how to please you?" I shake my head.

"No, We haven't even had sex yet" She nods her head in realisation.

"That's the problem isn't it? you want to and he has no idea that you want to?" I hesitantly nod my head.

"If Alex is anything like his father, you'll have to make the first move in that department or spell it out to him" I blush and nod.

"Thanks" She smiles and pats my knee.

"Lillyth Vallian?" Mariana and I stand up, walking to the young lady who will be doing our ultrasound.

"So, it says here you're four months along?" I nod my head and gasp as she places the gel into my stomach. I font care what anyone says, that shit is cold every time.

"I can tell you the sex of your baby if you want?" I nod my head.

"It'd be much appreciated" Mariana ads in.

"Well, it looks like you're having a girl" I smile as Mariana takes hold of my hand.

"Do you want a copy?" I nod my head and so does Mariana.

I know it's sad that the child I'm carrying is Alex's brothers and not his own but I know Alex will raise this little girl as his own.

"Alex will be thrilled, he's always wanted a daughter" I smile softly.

"I'm glad, I just wish this baby was his biologically" Mariana gives a sad smile.

"I know sweetie but you can't undo what has been done" I nod my head.

"Here are your copies, I'll see you in another couple of months" We walk to the car and hop in.

I can't stop looking at the ultrasound. I can see my baby girls little hands and feet. So gorgeous, it's amazing really.

"You know, if you continue to rub your stomach you'll end up leaving a rash" I didn't even realise I was rubbing my stomach. I blush and stop.

"I didn't even realise I was" Mariana laughs and keeps driving.

"I bet Alex does the same thing though. He did when I was pregnant with Oliver and with Austin" I laugh slightly.

"He has a fascination with baby bumps" I say smiling.

Mariana nods in agreement. My baby bump is noticeable, but only to those looking for it. Once we arrive home, Alex is home from work. He walks out the front door with a grin on his face. As soon as I'm out of the car I am picked up and spun around.

"I've missed you today" he pouts.

I roll my eyes and kiss his cheek. He sets me down and walks to his mother, kissing her cheek and thanking her for taking me. Once saying goodbye to Mariana we head inside.
