I'M IN HIS CAR!

David is currently asking me questions but I'm in such a state where I can't bear to answer them. After Ava told me that I was going on a date with David..TONIGHT! I ran to the bathroom as fast as I could only to see a beautiful navy blue dress that had rhinestones along the neckline. It looked wonderful, but I was doubtful that I was going to pull it off.  I took a few moments to breath and realize what I am about to do. I quickly stopped that because I noticed that I think way to much. I need to take risk. So in one swift motion I took off my horrible childish outfit that I wore to school earlier that day (baggy bright blue jeans and a yellow loose fitted v neck shirt) and gently put on this amazing dress. I analyze how I looked and was shocked at the curves I contained. It wasn't major curves or anything I just thought I had nothing to show off. Yeah I see you thighs. However, I never thought my body was enough considering Ava's amazing spot on features.

"If you would rather be somewhere else by all means go ahead." states David

OH MY GOSH! I'm on a date! I need to pay attention and stop drifting off to my never ending thoughts. But..that voice my oh my.

"I'm just kinda new to this. No scratch that totally new like a new born baby new. I'm just nervous." I stutter

"Don't be. Your beautiful Danielle no need to be nervous." replies David

HE CALLED ME beautiful. I'm beautiful. Danielle ME beautiful. My my this guys is perfect. Perfect for dumb girls like me! I can't just fall for him that fast. I take a serious look at his face. He has dark brown eyes pleasing caramel skin, oh and just to note a medium fit body. He glanced a look at me. NO! What is he thinking. I did my hair in a twist out, does it look funny from his angle? My eyes are much more darker than his..does he think I'm hiding something?

"Where would you like to eat Danielle?" David nervously ask.

HA! He's nervous for what?

"How about Micheal's Diner?" I suggest.

Did he think that was a dumb place to pi-

"Great perfect. I love the subs that they offer there." David says

Well well Danielle. You picked the right place. This was only luck though. How can I get through a whole date with this guy? As we pull up to the diner in David's black Impala, all of my nerves go away to be replaced by confidence. I can do this. David parks the car and comes across it to open the door for me. Oh my gosh, a warm feeling gets accessed through my body as I step out of the car.

We sit across one another at a red colored booth with wooden tables. I always loved the feel of this diner it felt unique and old-fashion. I looked up at David and man, my heart started racing. He was staring right at me! The blood pumped fast in my body wondering what he was thinking. He noticed my returned stare and responded with a shy smile. OH! That smile! It made my hands twitch. I quickly hid them under the table and folded them and decided to make the first move. Verbal move that is.

"Why haven't you approached me in school?" Realizing that this was a stupid question to ask. Obviously he might of been nervous. I patiently waited for his response.

"Danielle I'm sorry for asking you on a date like this. I should have been talking to you in school and stuff but I was just so shy." He sighed

I took the moment of him sighing before he started talking again to gaze into his eyes. I transferred my vision to his skin and how bad I wanted to touch him. It's as if he noticed my eagerness to be touched and he grabbed my hand underneath the table. It left him in an awkward position being sorta stretched to reach my hand. I put my hand on top of the table and he reconnected it.

I felt the roughness of his large hands. My finger traces an outline of a mark. A mark....I freeze. Unable to control the memories that appear right before my eyes. The memories I have nightmares about and have to call Ava at 3:30 a.m. to calm me down. This mark that I feel is a scar. The same scar I noticed on the hand of a boy the night I was held captive.
