Late afternoon, play rehearsal. School was a week and a half away, and it was the final rehearsal before the play which was two days from now. It was the most serious audition anyone has ever witnessed. Despite his role, Asher beat sweat, hard at work to hit the musical numbers.   Maude, Tyler (who still partakes in being regularly obnoxious), and Terrance were not only extras but helped with the technical lighting to make the play look dismal, aesthetically pleasing.   Lesley enjoyed her enormous role as Martha, despite the clunky glasses, and the distaste for her former friend Lillian MorganHill, who just so happened to be the leading role. But she had Liam to cheer her on, who in fact she's warmed up to after these past couple of days. He hasn't been there for her exactly, but they were around one another for along, it felt almost claustrophobic to not be around him at all times. Maybe that was some genetic anxiety she inherited from her dad though.   Anthony acted as if he had narcolepsy and fell asleep every chance he had. Zachary's part was the only one he was wide awake for, otherwise he'd probably be beaten to death with crying and groaning about how difficult the part was, and how Anthony should've endured the ultimate despair.   To further be shameful, Isaac was doing the opposite. He ignored his partner like he had a grudge. Ever since Lesley exposed and humiliated Lillian at last week's auditions, he hasn't spoken to Lillian since. He wasn't exactly the bigger person in this scenario, but he had every right to be mad. It's not like he broke up with her, but he mine as well at this rate. Just as soon as they try to be happy, something bad happens. It's like the universe keeps telling them to stay far away from each other, or something bad is bound to happen.

Since the school year Isaac has had this stone feeling in his rib cage that something bad is going to happen every time he interacted with that girl. And that eventually, it's going to cause something catastrophic, and just how people are pulled into their drama, people will be pulled into their hurt. Then everyone's going to be disarranged and hurt, and that's the scary thing."Alright! Take 10!" Asher called off rehearsal for a bit. He might have not been the role he desires most, but he was still director. And he took his time to clean out his ears, wipe some sweat off, and go speak to none other than the girl who had captured his heart.   He leaned toward onto the upper railing above the theater, a garage of chairs speed out. No one used the overseeing seats anymore. Not since the 80's time in Moonlight. He spoke in a polite tone, drinking some of his cool water to make his body dilute in the warmth. "How are you?"   She giggled, "Good...you?"   "Well," he grinned, "I did it."   "Did what?"   "I broke up with her." He talked like he was out of breath, "That's what you wanted didn't you?"   "You didn't have to..."  "But I wanted to." Asher smiled, "I want a love that's real. Not one that happens overnight. What me and you feel is real for each other Garcia. I know you feel it too."  Garcia shrugged, "I've just never felt anything. For anyone. What if it goes wrong?"  "Then we'll stop." He took her hand, people beginning to turn their heads suspiciously. She took note of that, and retracted her hands from his.   "I just want to make sure I do something right out of all the wrong I did last school year. And if that means giving up my dignity for you, I will."  Garcia was feeling the electricity she want going to lie. And she adored the way he looks at her. "Okay. But let's at least go see if Amy's okay later. She's been kicked out of the play for her absence. And she hasn't said anything to anyone. What if she pulls a Lillian's and..."  Asher shook his head, "She's not like that. She'll be fine."  Garcia shrugged, "I hope. We used to be such good friends, I can't believe how much has changed since then."  Asher and Garcia turned to the rest of the group, and even though they were all staring, they acted like they were doing work as usual once they were spotted.

Lillian ran her fingers through her hair as she went stage left and went back to practicing her choreography while humming along. Practicing was the only thing that had kept her sane. Isaac was gone, Lesley was gone, Liam was gone, Garcia was always up Asher's ass and she didn't want to ruin what was going on between them. It seemed like everything she touched turned into something terrible. Of course she went and visited Kota a couple times before her and the baby were released from the hospital. But the past few days drove Lillian insane. So when she got her nightmares in the middle of the night. She got up and practiced. Sure, sometimes it woke her roommates up. But it's not like they bothered to ask her to stop or ask her what was wrong. Her doctor's only got concerned when she stopped talking to just about everyone. But there was no decline in health so they particularly didn't have a problem with it. But with all the practicing she had done, her choreography was tight and flowed perfectly. With one last swing of her hips she went back down to her script to look back at another set she could practice on her own.
