My heart bitten up and chewed
My perception of love slewed.
I loved your being
But that that's not what my heart was seeing
What I thought was gleaming

Oh how I loved you--or so I thought
--But my body was bought
--And my feelings were not
Love is what I sought
--But not what I caught
Maybe I should stop
-Or-
Start from the top
I bid you adiou
--To let my love stew
--For another--
--A lover--
