Hello my inner sadness
I thought of you today.
I came banging on your door
You saw my tears drop--
to the floor
I asked if I could stay
But of course you said I mayThe lights inside were dim
I put my slim-pale hands round yours
You took me in for a while
But still, I failed to smile
You gave me spite
And once I took a bite
You threw me in a cell
--Until I get wellOr until I give up
on my love
